It’s not fair that they only have 2.9 stars. I’ve been here so many times and it’s good every time. Their menu just expanded to have bbq as well. Fried chicken and kimchi is really good
I think they recently had some sort of menu rework? There are definitely a lot more Japanese items on the menu now, however i had a great experience, i ordered the Fried chicken bento and the seafood pancake. Serving sizes were generous and the price was great, would definitely go there again 👍
This is a pretty nice Korean restaurant located opposite Chatswood Chase. Overall, there are some pretty good dishes at reasonable prices. I recommend the fried chicken, specifically the garlic soy and sweet chilli. The hot pots are also great for sharing. The bu-dae tang (or army’s stew) and the beef and mushroom tang are both really yummy. My other favourite was the gal bi zzim (braised beef short ribs) which was very tender and delicious.
This place is definitely hit and miss. The fried chicken is good, but on a busy night prepared to wait... and wait... and wait, because everyone orders the same thing and the kitchen gets backed up. Their soups are above average for Chatswood, but only average in Sydney. The seafood pancake is very good. The Byu dagi Guk Bab - pork backbone soup dish is a standout. And great value. Sadly the side dishes you get here is quite meagre and uninteresting. Still a solid Korean place for the north shore.
their spring onion fried chicken is nice but don’t get their spicy rice cakes as it’s not only extremely salty but a lot more spicy than usual rice cakes. price is okay but food takes forever to come out
Great food, great fried chicken, flavourful soup with soft meat, good side dishes, recommended!, will come back.

The seafood tofu stew was pretty good and they give you a fair amount of seafood including a mussel
The fried chicken was also great, tried the spring onion and you get a massive portion even for half size

It's a cozy little place with some nice korean dishes -I recommend the soups. I used to really like coming here but haven't as much after covid. Sadly the last time I came here the soup I had tasted a little funky, (though fortunately no diarrhoea). I think its a sign of the hard times covid put on restaurants. Hope their business goes back to normal so I can enjoy the Potzi of old.
First time trying this place I asked the Waitress for recommendations and wasn’t disappointed, the Sizzling Beef Bulgogi is sweet and delicious and comes with loads of little side dishes
Good value for money Korean food. Comes with side dishes. Ordered the spicy rice cake and cheese (was a bit sweet and spicy but very delicious) also ordered the main spicy shredded beef and noodle soup. Decent portions and mains come with a bowl of rice.
The food here is great, when ever I go to Korean restaurants I always get the spicy beef soup (육개장) and this place does it really well, all the food tasted so clean and not overly salty. If you are around Chatswood area or close by, definitely worth a visit.
Great food and a variety of options! Lunch menu is good value for money. Attentive and helpful staff! While we were eating the ribs, she brought us extra paper tissues just before we wanted to ask for more.
Lunch box served in muffin tins, side dishes served in egg tray. Empty VB bottles, A4 self printed movie posters, artificial flowers with “anko” tag left on decorated this restaurant. Food is tasty. Come for the food not so much the atmosphere and loud pop music.
It's pretty good. Had the hot pot and the tofu bibimbap. Both very tasty. Not many sides and the dishes are along the smaller side but the food tastes great, the service is friendly there isn't usually a wait. Try this place out... Also it's very cheap!
At first I thought the restaurant was too small and there were only four sides. The food took a while as well. but the size and quality of the dishes was quite good, great for sharing
