Review Nando's - Chatswood

Disgusting food standards. I ordered the Super Fuel Salad, half way through eating I had discovered a dead insect in the lettuce. The salads should be thoroughly washed, this is evidence that the food is not. Totally unacceptable from a chain restaurant. Bad customer service too. Do not go here.

The best nandos out of them all. Portions are generous and chicken was really juicy and delicious. Salad was also delicious. Love how I could control the amount of balsamic vinegar that goes on the salad by using the glass bottle of dressing that you can ask a staff member for at the registers.

Terrible store, terrible service. We could have gone to the one inside Macquarie Shopping Centre today but ended up we chose the Chatswood store which was a big time mistake. We went in there and was told can't dine in because of staff shortage. It looks like staff shortage issue at this store has been going for months according to the previous reviews. We had to take our food back in the car and ate inside the car which was super messy. I was also told to order via the app but then another customer behind us was able to order via the counter. When I asked why the staff said because the other customer had issue with her phone. When I was told that I had to order via the app, the front counter staff had nothing to do and was standing there so I can't see why he couldn't take my order. There are so many Nando's stores in Sydney, I will never go to this one. To me the store has not been managed properly, staff has no understanding what customer service means. Don't waste your time in going to this one, if the manager can't fix the staff issue within 3 months that means they have no intention to fix forever.

Been here a few times. Every time there seems to be something wrong with either orders, cleanliness or wait times. Staff seem disinterested and I was left standing at the counter for 5 minutes before acknowledging me and then left me waiting for a further 5 minutes before i gave up and left.There was only 2 tables in the restaurant and one table already had food. I won't be returning to this restaurant again which is a shame as I enjoy their chicken.

Last 3 times I've been here have been a nightmare. The first two, I was told that dine in was not allowed, and it was take away only. Honestly not that bad, but the sauce at Nando's is what makes it great and you just can't really use it in a takeaway setup. There was no real apparent reason for turning away a dine in. I guess you need 3 hours to do your close routine? But today, I was told that Nando's was simply closing for 30 minutes at peak dinner. Too many staff missing due to COVID, and was turned away at the counter. I know this is likely not anyone's fault entirely, but I just simply don't see the reason to go to a restaurant that simply never operates correctly within opening hours. You just can't plan around them being available. Thank god Chatswood is still dining heaven, I think I'll be going Korean or Thai for my chicken fix for now on.

AMAZING! I have eaten here at nandos about 7 times and they have never disappointed! I tend to get the cheese and bacon burger with lemon+herb sauce mixed with mild sauce and this burger smashes! The half chicken meal with peri peri chips is also bangin. They have so many free sauce options out too, so if you want to add sauce you can, the sauce is also great for the chips. They also have a sink in the restaurant to wash your hands when you’ve finished. The food also comes out quickly and well presented. I will be eating here regularly

Been here three times now and the quality has always been very consistent with helpful and friendly staff. Chicken is always grilled to perfection and basked perfectly in generous servings of sauce. Service time is relatively quick. Very filling and delicious!

Wait in line for around 5minutes, go up to order to be told they are closing early very last minute..what bull. You would know well in advance to either put up a sign to stop people coming in OR one of the many staff walking around could have come and told us so we didn't waste our time.

What I love about this place because they always consistently deliver hood products.<br/>Had a meal of ½ chicken, with hot sauce, ( you can choose level of spiciness when you order ) with spicy rice as side dish, and I did ordered extra piri piri chips.<br/>Chicken was still moist and juicy, love it! <br/>Spicy rice, well it’s good side too.<br/>I don’t really like those chips because it’s soggy, and don’t mixed the seasoning properly. Top part of chips is well season and bottom bits wasn’t.

Been a while since my last Nando fix. The problem with Nando's is that, their Chicken are good, but nothing else are. The chips are dried & hard to get through, totally in need of a gravy. The service was not good, they totally ran out of cutleries, many tables were not clean. Thinking I should've gone to KFC instead.

I generally avoid Nandos, I've never been a fan of the way they cook their chicken. But I had a decent experience at Chatswood, with their share plate of quarter chickens, pita bread, hummus and quinoa salad. At $25, it fed me and my friend pretty well, and the pita bread was light and fluffy and the hummus was a good sauce base for the chicken. I don't really know what else to say, it's basically just fine. It's not the best chicken, but it's good enough if you're craving that kind of taste.

The peri-peri chicken that they have is nice. The peri-peri sauce has a very unique taste. The hot variety is nice. The seating space could have been better

Nando’s is our go-to place when we are craving for some spicy chicken and are not being adventurous. It’s more like our comfort food every time we visit and have never been disappointed!!🤗🤗🤗

Ordered a whole chicken and chips, surprisingly the chicken was juicy and tasty, the chips were fresh and nice. Also had wraps and burgers there before, more like ordinary, nothing special. The chicken is worth a try,

the food came cold, the coleslaw tasted spoilt & the bread was stale. it was terrible, never going back and I don't think you should, under any circumstances, give this place a shot.

Wouldn't come back here. The salad was very small and not on the same level as salads I have previously had at other locations. Garlic bread was good as always though

Chicken chicken chicken ribs, these ribs from Nandos was so delightful. I have eaten here for many times, food quality is not always consistent, the ribs are always safe choices, perfectly marinated and grilled, slightly burnt, and juicy. But the rice was disappointed, it came cold. If you would like to have this dish, go with chips, much better. Avoid the rice, any kind of burger and salad from this location.

I have grown quite fond of Nando's and their food over the past couple of months!<br/><br/>It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, when I was shopping at Westfield Chatswood. I bumped into Nando's, and in I went! The place has a nice ambiance, and plenty of seating. <br/><br/>I ordered a meal consisting of a veggie Burger, peri peri chips and a drink. I chose the 'hot' sauce, and the burger really was spicy! Wow! I enjoyed it in spite of water running down my eyes and nose! I'm used to spicy food and thought I would be able to handle it, but it turns out I was wrong! <br/><br/>The chips were good as well. I really enjoyed my 'spicy' meal, although at nearly $18, I'll have to say it was expensive.<br/><br/>Food - 4.5/5<br/>Service - 4.5/5<br/>Ambiance - 4.5/5<br/>Value for money -3/5<br/>Overall - 4/5

Nandos is the name, flame grilled Portuguese chicken is their game. There's not many franchised chicken shops that cook flame grilled chicken that retains that authentic feel. The skin is slightly charred while the flesh is always moist. <br/><br/>There's something about the simple charred chicken skin clinging onto chicken meat that is so enticingly addictive. It may be the tamarind marinate that provides that mysterious tang or their various levels of peri peri spicyness that keep you on your toes but dining here is always sure to excite.<br/><br/>The burgers, wraps and pitas are a popular option while they also have paella and espetada for more substantial meals. There is a good selection of healthy sides such a corn, cows cows, rice or salads. The peri peri chips are a adds good twist enhancing that Portuguese flavour explosion.<br/><br/>What I love is their range of sauces that you could buy and have bought the extra hot sauce to add to my own creations at home. <br/><br/>The only disappointment with Nandos is the price. I don't get much left over from $20 to be full here but it's always worth it.

Hadn't had Nando's in years! So feeling like some chicken, decided to head on over.<br/><br/>Both BBQ ribs and their signature chicken were delicious. The peri peri chicken was so juicy, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. I don't even remember it being this good. Spicy rice was no where near spicy and a little bland but still a good accompaniment to the chicken. I liked the coleslaw with everything as well - added crunch and a refreshing burst of something cool.<br/><br/>Staff seemed a little lost, bringing out the takeaway bag saying it had everything when it clearly looked half empty. Good thing we checked because it was indeed missing half the meal!
