Nando’s is our go-to place when we are craving for some spicy chicken and are not being adventurous. It’s more like our comfort food every time we visit and have never been disappointed!!🤗🤗🤗
I have grown quite fond of Nando's and their food over the past couple of months!
It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, when I was shopping at Westfield Chatswood. I bumped into Nando's, and in I went! The place has a nice ambiance, and plenty of seating.
I ordered a meal consisting of a veggie Burger, peri peri chips and a drink. I chose the 'hot' sauce, and the burger really was spicy! Wow! I enjoyed it in spite of water running down my eyes and nose! I'm used to spicy food and thought I would be able to handle it, but it turns out I was wrong!
The chips were good as well. I really enjoyed my 'spicy' meal, although at nearly $18, I'll have to say it was expensive.

Nandos is the name, flame grilled Portuguese chicken is their game. There's not many franchised chicken shops that cook flame grilled chicken that retains that authentic feel. The skin is slightly charred while the flesh is always moist.
There's something about the simple charred chicken skin clinging onto chicken meat that is so enticingly addictive. It may be the tamarind marinate that provides that mysterious tang or their various levels of peri peri spicyness that keep you on your toes but dining here is always sure to excite.
The burgers, wraps and pitas are a popular option while they also have paella and espetada for more substantial meals. There is a good selection of healthy sides such a corn, cows cows, rice or salads. The peri peri chips are a adds good twist enhancing that Portuguese flavour explosion.
What I love is their range of sauces that you could buy and have bought the extra hot sauce to add to my own creations at home.
The only disappointment with Nandos is the price. I don't get much left over from $20 to be full here but it's always worth it.
Hadn't had Nando's in years! So feeling like some chicken, decided to head on over.
Both BBQ ribs and their signature chicken were delicious. The peri peri chicken was so juicy, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. I don't even remember it being this good. Spicy rice was no where near spicy and a little bland but still a good accompaniment to the chicken. I liked the coleslaw with everything as well - added crunch and a refreshing burst of something cool.
Staff seemed a little lost, bringing out the takeaway bag saying it had everything when it clearly looked half empty. Good thing we checked because it was indeed missing half the meal!
The best nandos out of them all. Portions are generous and chicken was really juicy and delicious. Salad was also delicious. Love how I could control the amount of balsamic vinegar that goes on the salad by using the glass bottle of dressing that you can ask a staff member for at the registers.
AMAZING! I have eaten here at nandos about 7 times and they have never disappointed! I tend to get the cheese and bacon burger with lemon+herb sauce mixed with mild sauce and this burger smashes! The half chicken meal with peri peri chips is also bangin. They have so many free sauce options out too, so if you want to add sauce you can, the sauce is also great for the chips. They also have a sink in the restaurant to wash your hands when you’ve finished. The food also comes out quickly and well presented. I will be eating here regularly
Been here three times now and the quality has always been very consistent with helpful and friendly staff. Chicken is always grilled to perfection and basked perfectly in generous servings of sauce. Service time is relatively quick. Very filling and delicious!
