Always came here for a family yumcha.. They are delish, have a pretty wide dining space so u dont really have to queue for that long.. Its quite exxy though when compare to the ones in eastern suburb :p

Speaking from a person of Cantonese background, the dim sum are authentic, fresh and delicious. Staff are not usually friendly but it's common in most authentic Chinese restaurants. The egg tarts (large size) are always a favourite and runs out quickly due to popularity.

Yum Cha on a Sunday. 7 of us enjoyed a wide range of pastries, dumplings and roast duck The food was delicious and it came hot and fast. Walked out full and happy.

Yum Cha. 1. food - delicious! more variety of dishes if arrive before 12:30pm.
2. customer service - poor
3. atmosphere - have to queue (the queue is shorter before 12pm); noisy, but still able to converse with other diners on the table

Their seafood is generally outstanding. The steamed barramundi in soy with mushrooms and prawn vermicelli hotpot are great. Order them even though they are not on the menu and you will be rewarded.

Though there are so many bad reviews, I still went there with friend today for the first time. I believe the communication might be the most outstanding issue for the restaurant with English speaking customers. But other than that, the service is good and food is not bad either. We were greeted warmly by every waitress and waiter. They explained in detail what they have in their cart. Refill the teapot is also free. I am happy with the experience anyway.

I love coming to this restaurant on a Sunday for brunch. The dim sum are always the best. It's always busy and the wait is long. I do recommend going with a group of friends to get in faster. Some things to try include the prawn dumplings, ham sui gok, chive and scallop dumplings, pork buns... just try everything you won't be disappointed.
