Have been here a few times over the years, it looks like nothing much from the inside but the quality far exceeds expectations.
The chef special Rogan Josh with goat is amazing, very tender meat, fragrant curry sauce but it would be so much better it the goat was boneless.
The chicken makhani (butter chicken) is another top recommendation. Naan bread is always soft and fresh and the rice/sides/accompaniments are all reasonably priced.
The few times we’ve ordered the tandoori chicken, it’s been quite dry, especially the breast pieces.
Nice little neighbourhood Indian, I guess. Food is good, it's tasty but if you're not a huge fan of extra onion in you're dish then it may not be to you're taste. Maybe it's used to bulk out dishes but it's not for me and completely changes the taste and texture of the curries. Will try again though, sans onions!
Beautiful aromatic dishes with tender melt in your mouth meats! excellent, friendly staff in a warm and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for a cold winter night
A nicely decorated restaurant that also has take away in a tiny shopping strip in Cheltenham. Service was friendly and efficient. The samosas were ok. The chicken korma, chicken tikka, lamb biryani, beef, vegetarian curry & roti bread were all delicious but we ordered too much & unfortunately couldn't finish. Very cheap only $105 for 4 people excellent value.
I don't normally eat a lot Indian food as it can be so hit and miss. Finally I've found a decent Indian with great food and friendly service. Vegetable samosas were delicious and curries were flavoursome. It's BYO so don't forget to pack your wine. Definitely be back!
Very happy with this little hidden gem, will ruturn for sure . Reasonably priced and very good food , always sceptical about places that have really high ratings however this one is top notch ! We visited on a weeknight and wasnt busy ,but on weekends it gets really crazy here ,so my advice is pre book . Service was great ..
The best take away I've had for a long long time, chicken makani was amazing and not too sweet as many others and the naan bread and lemon coconut rice so good. The only take away menu on my fridge at the moment!
As an Indian myself - the food is absolutely amazing here! With generous serves of ridiculously tasty traditional curries, naans & tandoori you can't go wrong! It's exactly how mum makes it! Service is fantastic and the owners are so friendly and hospitable to all customers. This place is booked out night after night because these guys know exactly what they are doing! Best Indian in the area by far!!! Highly recommended.
Place looks a little dull but dont let that device you. The food is yummy, we ordered take away and had the beef samosa, chiken korma and lemb vindaloo. All were delish, not oily or greasy. Will go back again.

Great food. I would eat there every day of the week. Pity the waiter barracks for Hawthorn, but you can't have everything. Aside from that, he is a good bloke. I love it and highly recommend it.
