Really awesome staff... Exceedingly helpful... Fabulous coffee... Wonderful food... Brilliant feel
So yummy!! Everything about this place is so good! The service, the decor, the food! I live around the corner so definitely will become my local! Wish you did brunch on a Sunday too!!
It’s always a relaxing and easy feeling sitting down in the Odd Room in Cheltenham for a coffee break and/or a family meal. Odd Room | Location. Location wise, just like the name, it’s in the middle of a patch of small industrial businesses, is odd.
Great coffee and food. Owner seems to like or doesn’t mind dogs. Anyone who likes dogs deserves a good review.
I was quite impressed by the impressive fare at this cute little cafe in Cheltenham. The presentation and taste was on point as were the portions. Ticked all of the boxes on my weekend checklist 👌🏼
I’ve been lucky enough to have stopped by here several times when my sister used to work here!
Over time I enjoyed some mouth watering delicious treats including the chilli fried eggs which may I add were cooked beyond 👏🏼 scattered around the plate were roasted corn kernels & to provide the relief from the saltiness & heat from the chilli was the avocado!
A flavour bomb of a dish & a real signature here at the odd room! YUM 🔥🌶🍳👌🏼
Other dishes included the cheesy gnocchi & waffles soooooooo sooo good and amazing coffee too
I came here late on a Saturday afternoon expecting the kitchen to be closed. To my delight it was still open.
This place has set a warm and calm ambience. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door, you just know that you could spend a lot of time here.
I ordered a flat white and the Pancakes.
The flat white was nice and had a boldness to it. The pancakes were divine, weren’t overdone with sweetness, had the right balance of flavours and consistency.
Drop past if you are in the area. The odd room isn’t far from Southland ( you need to drive) so it’s a good place to escape the hustle and bustle or even prepare yourself!
Well I was flattered with their ambience at the very first look. They have the rustic look from outside and inside is so well decorated with minimal things. We ordered fried eggs on toast with corn and avocado. It tasted good but the toast was a bit hard otherwise it was very yumm. But real show stealer was the smashed avocado on toast with olives. That was simply sooo good. And of course their brownie was so good that it took us to a different world!. It was warm and soft and just perfect.
Great urban style cafe 😁 , i love the chilled egg , it gave you a true Spicy taste ! Love the waffles noisette aswell , i thought they simply put Nutella on the top of ice cream ...however threy mixed nutella with ice cream ! Impressive ! Only things i can pick on ...may be more variety of foods will be better ! And soy latte to be improve
What a great little cafe. Love the industrial styling and layout. Great service and staff so lovely. Menu was great for selection and also quite different. The dish I ordered was made perfectly and served just a perfectly. A serious chilli hit! Coffee was good but not great!
Excellent food and great coffee! Will definitely go back again to try the rest of the menu. Fresh, clean and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service.
Been coming to Cheltenham since forever to visit my grandparents.Had to meet mum for brunch yesterday and just couldn't come at the thought of Southland (yet again). After cruising Broadsheet I decided on The Odd Room.So so glad I did!Super easy to get to,plenty of parking and a really nice vibe inside. My reason for rating so high is the coffee!!Broadsheet gave a big nod to it so I was really excited about trying it (yes I am a coffee snob!).Delicious smooth creamy latte, not a hint of bitterness and you could really tell the barista knew his stuff!Normally I have a couple of sugars but when going for my second coffee I just didn't need them.Brunch was pretty good,I had Parmesan panna cotta with confit cherry tomatoes and sage scrambled eggs.Mum had the chilli eggs.No super fancy standout items on the menu..would suggest a few more options for us veggo's aside from the standard eggs your way or smashed avo.
Anyway..really glad I found this place, will be sure to drop by next time just for the caffeine hit.

The ambience is nice.Did not know before it was a cafe.Came here through Google map.The staffs are attentive and friendly.Berry smoothie was good and we ordered pulled pork Benedict.I liked the dish.Poached eggs were perfectly cooked, rosti not that oily, spinich sauted properly and really like the hollandaise sauce with apple slaw and paprika.Good australian-zapanese combo menu.So will be back for the katsu curry.Thank-you for your hospitality guys.
Nice little spot. Good parking at rear and staff were very friendly. Only had time for a milkshake but will revisit for something a little more substantial.
Delicious place, really friendly staff and good service. Asian fusion breakfast.
An interesting artistic touch on how to present corn frittes. Instead of pancake-like they are served like small balls. If you want to park you need to do it from the back but not such a big inconvenience. I definitely recommend this place for brunch.
Nice strong coffee and kind staff. The meal was a nice portion, well plated with great flavour and arrived very very fast. Because of COVID safe rules, the place has not much space, and sit outside in a sunny hot summer morning could be not too comfortable. Luckily, we had there in a cloudy and breezy day, so we didn’t have any problem sitting outside.
Good service from the barista. Good coffee
Last visit had soba salad- chicken a bit burnt and not much. Lots of carrots thou.
Also had Spanish frittata but was just an omelette with some crisps on the side.
Neat cafe in a small industrial space with convenient parking and outside terrace. Cold Brew filters on the counter give an idea of how passionate they are about coffee too. Quick and friendly service to top it off.
