I come here as often as possible but I’m compelled to write this because the eggplant sabich plate I just finished almost brought me to tears. Good tears.

Never noticed this place before and I drive past all the time! Food, coffee and service all good. I was actually surprised to find that there were only a couple of people in here at 10am on a Saturday morning. However, by the time we left there was a few more people around.
Definitely a great find. Very industrial chic, appropriate for the area and because, well, Melbourne.
The only negative I think is probably the backless stools, which I cannot stand, but my friend was happy to let me sit booth side so no real issue there. Also fair warning, the car park entrance is only one way - I was caught off guard!
Would definitely recommend if in the area.
What an awesome little gem in Cheltenham! Great food, nice staff, just really good vibes! A really cool cafe without the "too cool for school" mentality. Can't wait to go back again.
The location of Bambam may look like your average neighbourhood, but this cafe is anything but!
My friends and I chose to visit this fresh beautifully designed cafe on the block where we were immediately greeted by the friendliest staff. The cafe was filling up quickly but we managed to grab a table, following some amazingly delicious meals which were well proportioned and presented. If you love your veggies definitely give their greens bowl a try, so pleasurably tasty without feeling guilty haha! Will definitely be returning!

Eco Friendly and Delicious! - a rare 5 star review
Now I don’t give 5 stars very often! A cafe/restaurant needs to be a step above the rest for me to give 5 stars... and Bambam is exactly that.
First let’s start with the service. A family run cafe that is super friendly and attentive. They greet everyone who enters with such happiness it’s hard not to be cheerful yourself.
The food is next! Beautifully presented dishes and the flavour profile to match. The serving size is not too big and I enjoyed every bite!
And the coffee (and more importantly the coffee cups). The perfectly brewed coffee is served in coffee cups made from the actual husk of the coffee beans! HOW COOL!!!
Unfortunately this cafe is pretty small so you’ll have to get in before the crowds do.
A cafe that is family run, has a cheerful vibe, good food and coffee, also has a liquor licence, is eco friendly and aims to do their part in saving the planet, well that gets my tick of approval!

Wonderful place!
Walked past to grab a quick coffee. The chili eggs on the menu caught my eyes and decided to try it out. Wow! Presentation, vibe and most importantly taste was fantastic. Great eatery and highly recommend. Well done guys.
If I had to choose food for an eternal afterlife, it would be Bambam. Some of the best food I think I’ve ever eaten. Immensely inviting, have made the trip from the other side of Melbourne a few times just for it. Oh, and it’s all vegan but discretely so.
My new favourite Melbourne cafe! Fresh delicious food (this greens bowl was incredible), friendly staff, and the coffee well and truly hit the spot. Can't wait to come back soon.

Finally got to check out Bambam as we were down that way, would definitely venture back from the Western burbs just for the brownie alone! The salads were colourful, fresh and flavourful. Chic decor and friendly staff. Another wonderful addition to Melbourne's growing vegan scene. 💚🌿
Great coffee here and awesome selection of cakes. Waitress was very helpful and barista cared about what he is doing. He even took the time to ask how I liked the coffee (house blend espresso the first visit here) and came back second time to try their single origin on his suggestion
Looks like this place will become my new local coffee shop on the weekends.
Will come back another time to try the lunch menu for meals.
Found this little gem just this night. And wow, great food, great wine and great service. Looks like a real loyal following too. Get down here and enjoy. Also great to support local when it’s amazing.
