Love, love, love this place. Full of interesting facts about the history of the island, as well as seeing the activities on offer, blacksmithing, whip cracking, shearing, sheep-dog display. The gardens are full of beautiful flowers some of which would be deemed as "old fashioned". The view from the house of the surrounding water is absolutely beautiful. So tranquil and relaxing. Not my first time here, and this wont be my last. Look out for the Peacock whilst walking through the gardens!
What an amazing place! Beautiful surroundings and lots of history and stories told. Wandered around for hours with the family and was just besotted with how incredible it all was.
A lovely farm away from the hustle and bustle of city life. You get to see the Sheep shearing, sheep dog at work and then ofcourse relax and enjoy the nature. Dont forget to find a nice shaded location and lie down :).
Great place for kids lots of animals and activities Peter and Chloe were really great with there sessions great fun for the family. Real and close contact to farm animals just an experience living in a farm yard
Fantastic place to visit for anyone and everyone. Beautiful picnic areas, tables with benches etc. Lots of waterways with Birdlife around. Friendly Peacock named Andrew. Farming to see firsthand. Cafe and visitor centre.
What a great visit here. Great farm for a visit. Good for kids. Highly recommend it
Interesting exhibits in the farm area. It is worth spending some time looking around the homestead where period rooms have been reconstructed. Good views across Western Port.
Churchill island contains a working farm and fully restored cottages dating from 1860s and homestead dating from 1872.
There are lots of shows and activities for kids. Kids get to see a guided tour, blacksmithing, do milking on cows, Show of sheep shearing show, sheep herding show with a working dog and show of whip cracking.
Preplan your visit, allocate a day for visiting this farm in this island, kids will enjoy it.
