Let's be honest: Lake Espresso Cafe doesn't attempt to be fancy. Nor is the food. But for delightful views over the Claremont Golf Course and really, really good coffee, this place is very simple and delivers a lovely setting, and is really worth a visit. The food is very limited and simple yet their breakfast wraps with a special and secret relish is oh so yummy!!
We continue to come back to Lake Espresso Cafe; a good place to meet friends, read the newspaper and just relax from the chaos of everyday life. Love this place!
Good ambiance, coffee was average but it was quite busy and I hope that is the reason. I had a brekky wrap take away and it was nice.
Nothing really impressive but I ll give i a go next week and,hopefully the coffee will be better this time.
Top of world. They do the best with what they have available to them. Fantastic guys, great atmosphere and A1 coffee. Perfect for a sit down, outlook on the lake is great.
A park cafe that serves exceptional coffee - hooray! It's been a while since we've visited Lake Espresso and on a bustling Father's Day I'm happy to say our long blacks were great. There's been some new additions to the cafe like the alfresco covered area and a heater. The cafe overlooks Lake Claremont and the small golf course, it's dog friendly too. Great laid back atmosphere. Access the cafe off Davies road or cycle/ walk up to the deck via the path around the Lake.
Where in Claremont can you sip a hot coffee with a scenic and peaceful view? We may have found the perfect little place at the Lake Claremont Golf Course called Lake Espresso. The location is indeed somewhat hidden from the street when turning off Davies Road. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the Claremont train station. We ordered a couple of cappuccinos and a brekky wrap. Lake Espresso offer a super casual family friendly environment and the coffee is fantastic, one of the better park cafes we have visited in Perth. The staff were energetic and friendly. Our brekky wrap was a delicious combination of mushroom, egg, spinach and relish. The parkland at Lake Claremont covers about 70 hectares. A path wraps around the lake with one side ideal for cycling and rollerblading and the other for nature walks. A small playground with BBQ facilities can be found a few metres away. A hole in the wall, next to the bigger golf coffee place. Some small eats as well as beverages. Limited seating, mostly takeaway. Ask for a ceramic cup if your staying or your own Keep Cup is good on the go. I liked their coffee. A good end stop after a walk in the park, or a swim, possibly. Parking was crowded when I went.
A little cozy cafe adjacent to the Claremont golf course, serving great coffee and bakes. I love that the banana bread is served with both sides grilled.

Top Spot. With a group of girls from aqua coffee and brekky here. Lovely veranda looking over the golf course. Big cappucino and shared toasted banana bread. Didnt eat the brekky but the menu looked yum couple different spins on the usual. Next time i will. Fast friendly efficient service. There is a small gym and exercise classes. Shady parking. Family and dog friendly. Love to see the lunch and dinner menu. Also a walk track. Top spot
Its lovely sitting up on the veranda looking over the beautiful course and having a nice coffee. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I could just sit there all day and wave away my worries and concerns.

Great little coffee place, small, intimate, overlooks the lake and golf course. Ever friendly staff. Great coffee, great bites of food, kids and dogs can run around on the grass outside. Plenty of parking available nearby.
Great coffee and outlook over the golf course and lake. Excellent and well priced snacks and more substantial meals if required.
