Mr Chef Dumpling - Clayton - Photo album

The eel and 鱼香肉丝 are amazing. Friendly staff. Cleanliness might need a little work. 锅贴 is actually disappointing as hell. They just fried the standard dumplings with standard dumpling filling (including veg). Everyone knows 锅贴 is made with meat only!! Come on now, don't be lazy. Great to try if you'
A popular place for cheap, fuss-free, casual dining in Clayton. Portions were generous and all dishes tasted good, especially the fried rice cake with spinach and pork. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will be back again to try the Shanghai fried noodles.
Best dumplings in Clayton. Had the pan fried pork and pan fried beef dumplings, and Shanghai fried noodles. They all were great. I recommend the pan fried pork dumplings. Priced at around $15/dish.
We wanted dim sum so we schlepped all the way out to Clayton … and it was worth every moment of that journey. I can still smell the delicious chilli out and vinegar on my fingers hours later. We had steamed, pan fried and boiled pork dumplings, cold chilli chicken, braised brisket, spring onion panc
The best fried pork dumplings I’ve ever had!! Crispy skin with super juicy and flavourful filling inside. Not to mention it’s super cheap. Get in early if you’re going on the weekends cuz this place fills up FAST!
The food came out lightning fast. Cheap and consistently good dumplings. Each dumpling has a generous filling wrapped around a nice thick skin. No frills service. However, the tables and floors can be a little oily and sticky.
Ordered spring onion pancake, Shanghai noodles, and pan fried pork dumplings. All dishes were delicious!! Average service (but you don’t go there for the service), average atmosphere as the door was broken so it was very cold inside! Will continue to visit pings for the delicious meals.
Quick, cheap, no-frill and the food was surprisingly taste not too bad. This place is one of the more successful restaurant in Clayton judging by its crowdier patronage. The customers are mixed, maybe 60-40, between asians and non-asians.
