Our 1st time eating Nasi Rawon a javanese dish...they were so yummylicious in our tummy...and we also bought Nasi Ayam which is my favourite dish...highly recommended for an authentic malay food ��
Very good n authentic Malay food. Love the satay,tauhu goreng,Ayam belado,mee siam n Nasi Lemak with beef rendang and many others like lontong etc etc. With sumptuous food like these who needs to cook? Love the family who runs the place too.
Love their satay, Taihu goreng, mee goreng, nasi lemak and rendang! Very warm and friendly staff and always so welcoming and accommodating. Very family oriented.
This place transports you back to a typical open food court with ample canteen-like seatings situated along highways in Malaysia.
Ordered two plates of nasi lemak with boneless chicken chop and rendang sauce and curry sauce each. The rice was fluffy and had good santan in it. The sambal, true to its name was sambalicious although it would have been nice to be abit more generous with the portion. Chicken chop topped with curry/rendang sauce was out-of-fryer crispy. Accompanying the mains were potato curry puffs which weren’t memorable.
In summary, will definitely be back for more nasi lemak or others from the menu as the experience has been delicious at Miah’s Sambalicious.
We were shopping at Lion City and stumbled upon these meals prepared by Miah's Sambalicious. We were blown away by the authentic flavours!
Their satay was very close to the real thing! No deep fried pieces of chicken here. The meat was tender and spiced perfectly. The peanut sauce was highly addictive. The Indian rojak was impressive. I have not encountered this in Melbourne before and I was very pleased with the sauce and fried items.
Will definitely continue to be a faithful Miah's Sambalicious follower!
Don't be scared by the near empty dining hall. This is probably because the eatery is located in such inconspicuous place. I thought this was going to be a disaster, but surprise, the food is freshly cooked and really delicious. Had the nasi ayam- fried chicken Maryland with garlic rice. The thigh meat was so juicy.
Since then I went back and tried a char kway teow. This was not the same as the usual Penang style, but once again delicious. If you like Sue'z Delight， you'd like this place. Just a bit tricky to find.
May not be the best Malaysian eatery in Melbourne but definitely comfort food for a Malaysian/Singaporean in the area. Not expensive and plenty of space available. I come every other week or when I need some malay food fix.
Miah’s Sambalicious is located just behind Rusdan Place on Normanby Road. You’ll have to drive up the short ramp to find the entrance, through the parking lot. Its not hard to get to, but its one of those places that you have to have been looking for to find.
The dining area has a food court / cafeteria style feel to it, but only has two dining stalls.
The way it works is that you place your order, then wait at a table. When it is ready, the dish is placed on the counter and called out for you to come and collect it before bringing it back to your seat.

Love their chicken Maryland, I drop by really often after work just to take away their chicken. Service was also good, and cooking doesn't take too long.
Nasi Ayam, satay 7,mee rebus. Teh tarik.. Chicken quarter deep fried for 15 minutes. Steaming Bowl of soup! Yummy chicken was fried really crispy and the taste was just right, no taste of the salt but the chicken came out juicy and separated from the bone. The rice was steaming hot. To wash down with teh tarik. Finally my wife rated the satay averagely. Both my wife and I taste it as an eight.
Good cheap eat. This place can be really hard to find but is one of the little hidden gems in Melbourne. Great Nasi Ayam, Rojak and friendly staff. Bandung is a little bit watered down but the teh tareh and ice kachang are really good. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't already been.
