For starters we had the garlic bread, pretty average, but was nice and flavoursome. Next Andy had the fillet Mignon, he didn't like the mushroom sauce it was suppose to come with, so changed the sauce option to a red wine jus, hitch he said he wish he didn't, as the meat was cooked perfect and the auction was abit bland and really didn't need to be on the plate. I had the seafood plate.... and yummo.... it was perfect, I couldn't fault a thing on my plate.... so as far as the meal it was beautiful, will definitely be back for the food. BUT the only thing I would give a small negative to, was the fact we had to wait for service of drinks. Yes there was a wedding, but they did have enough staff to cover that and the rest of restaurant, in fact the staff had walked past my empty glass several times..... on a high note, I would definitely love to go there on a summer night, just before sunset and sit outside.... Thankyou for a lovely meal......

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys quality food at a reasonable price, the food is always first class so are the staff and the service , a great place to celebrate a special occasion as it has a romantic atmosphere especially in the private rooms and I love the fireplaces,
Wonderful evening experience for my Wife and I on her Birthday. Excellent food, wine and service. Lucky enough to have a table by the fire. Excellent atmosphere, with a pianist playing live. Our first time here, and will definitely be returning. Would give it ten stars 🌟 if able 👍🏾
Took my wife here tonight to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. Staff were awesome, food was phenomenal and the piano in the background topped it off. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking for that something special. Will be back again soon.

I photographed Kevin and Sue's Wedding at The Courthouse Restaurant last year and I must say it was such a lovely venue. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the view out over the bay is a stunning backdrop for photographs. Highly recommend!

Love the food at The Courthouse, everything we have tried has been delicious. The staff are very helpful and happy to help. A special thank you to Mitch the chef that I spoke to and explained my daughters special dietary requirements, he went above and beyond to meet these requirements so she could enjoy her meal at her favourite restaurant. Looking forward to going back soon thank you.

The food was lovely at our lunch last Tuesday. Both meals were perfect. Unfortunately, my cappuccino was not.
Service was very ordinary. The waitress never gave us a smile and hardly spoke a word to us, even when paying for our food. We will definitely come back for the beautiful food. Hopefully the service will be better.

This was my second visit here, my last bring 35 years ago. It's certainly changed. In the past there was a dance floor in the centre with live music and I had such fond memories - sadly that's no longer.
The food was lovely and the open fireplaces made for a great atmosphere.
Not a bad word to say. Top quality service from friendly and professional staff. We happily went straight into the jail cell and enjoyed the fireplace. My fiancee is a coeliac and they made it so easy! We had the Winter Wednesday Special and they accommodated for her without question or fuss. The soup was delightful and she commented that the accompanying bread-roll was the best bread she’d had in years! The beef cheeks were so tender you could push from top to bottom with a fork and the sauce was all the things a good sauce should be: rich, balanced and abundant. Now the dessert was next level. What a generous portion of a delicious sticky date pudding. Compliments to the chef! Thank you to the maître d’ and the waitstaff for a wonderful evening.
My wife & I tried the Courthouse for the first time. We booked online for dinner and upon arrival were pleasantly surprised by the layout of the building, side rooms and nooks with open areas, both inside and out. We'd love to return for lunch to experience the bay views from the deck.
The fixed 3-course dinner menu (incl: 1x entree, 1x main & 1x dessert) offers multiple options for each category, optional sides are available too. I added a side of fries, thinking the three-course meal wouldn't fill me, I was very wrong. The drinks menu was surprisingly broad, which was fantastic.
The service was excellent, a cut above anywhere I've been for some time. Wait staff were efficient, thoughtful and professional, allowing the right amount of time between ordering, clearing plates and refilling glasses.
The cost was more than we're used to, but it wasn't so difficult to part with on our anniversary and when the experience was that good! Highly recommend!
This restaurant exceeds expectations in every way. Have not been here for around 30 years but a family members 70th got me back.
The service was excellent. Drinks fast and without having to plead with a wait person to get.
The food was superb. I was at a top name gold coast seafood eatery last week, and the quality and freshness, flavours and combinations at the Courthouse was so superior, I was amazed.
Pleased to see quality still in style at Cleveland.

An amazing place for a wedding! My husband and I were meant to get married last year but had to postpone to March 2022 due to covid. Carol was amazing and so kind to deal with through the whole process. The night was amazing and all the guests commented on how great the venue and food was. Thanks again for all your help!
