Loved this place, great atmosphere, great staff, 1802 Beer was great. The three sauces we chose for oysters were all delicious. My husband and son convinced me my teeth had gone black from squid ink buns but later told me they were joking just to watch me cover my mouth. The Pork Belly bites were yum but glad to share them as they were filling.
The price was not cheap but well worth it.
Friendly accomodating staff, good kids menu, lovely fresh seafood. Oysters 3 ways is a good choice, we thoroughly enjoyed the calamari also.

Forget the flat whites and the nonsense steak, just order a dozen of oysters. The oysters are sweet, juicy and crunchy - the epitome of oysters. The spawnless oysters are firm, plump and full of flavour with a sweet lingering after taste of the marine flavour. Awesome, splendid and a pure delight. Started with Oyster 5 ways - Natural, Thai, Aussie - deep fried Aussie with avocado and Vegemite (awesome), Cheesy - Parmesan cheese and Japanese Heat - wasabi with garlic aioli.

Others had Pumpkin soup & Sashimi.
We finished with a BIG Seafood platter. Very fresh & reasonable prices - very enjoyable.

Amazing!! Definitely worth the drive from Whyalla! We didn't have a booking but we were quickly seated at a table for 2 just inside the door. We had natural oysters, kilpatrick and 'Japanese' (soy, wasabi, pickled ginger) and they were all spot on! The staff are lovely and attentive, will definitely be back!
We ordered half a dozen kilpatrick oysters and this is coming from 3 oyster non-lovers but these were soooo good. Slippery and smooth oysters that were topped with diced bacon, worstershire sauce, garlic sauce and a hint of chilli. I should have ordered a dozen for myself haha. Oyster Kilpatrick – 6 for $12 1802 was really full and it took a while for our oysters to come out but our waitress was really nice and reassuring us that we weren’t forgotten.
