Carney & Earl's

We have been talking about checking out Carney & Earl's for a while now. My only regret was waiting so long to get there!!! I had the Chicken Burger, Mark had the Carney burger and we of course got a side of fries to share..... The burger just melted in your mouth and the infusion of flavours was mind blowing!! The chips were cooked perfectly and had the crunch you hope for and the fluffiness of the inside was simply awesome!! I don't normally eat beef burgers because I find the patties so bland and lacking any flavour, but with how impressed I am with the chicken burger I am seriously considering giving the Carney burger a go!!! Could not recommend this place enough!!

Hands down best burgers in town great price and a good range my partner and I are going to eat our way through the menu so far had the beef burger and the bacon cheeseburger. Brioche toasted perfectly and burger patties just melt in your mouth and are made out of real meat! So cooked medium-medium rare will definitely be back

Very nice burgers. Don’t expect a huge Aussie style burger and you’ll be very happy. Great sides - onion rings better than Sydney/Canberra/Melbourne’s best.

So yummy :) best american style hamburgers on the coffs coast. Pickles and juicy patties are always perfect and proper american cheese on a brioche... divine!

I decided to have a look for some dinner one night, and after looking around for places, I saw that Carney & Earl's was located in an alley way just off a street. Who would not want to have alleyway burgers! So I went for a walk and eventually found the alley and the shop front. They had the door half way down, but as it was still early I asked. They had run out of burgers that day! Well this just made me want an alleyway burger that much more!

So I went back the next day, even earlier this time so they didn't have a chance to run out. It is located on a busy little alley that is near the centre of Coffs! They have a bit of a shop front where you order, their kitchen and then a alley within an alley where you can sit and eat. Alley-ception. I was greeted by the most friendliest of people when I ordered. Just the service was worth the wait. I ordered a Cheese and Bacon Burger and a serve of chips. The prices are really cheap, with my meal coming to only $15. While I waited I watched the staff, and they are friendly and happily greet everyone that walks in. People just keep on coming, so they obviously have a good following!

Now for the burger. Oh my. It is absolutely delicious. There is plenty of everything and it just looks great. The burger is simple in that it is beef patty, bacon, Montgomery cheese, pickles, and sauce. The brioche bun is great and compliments all of the burgers fillings. The beef is fresh and tasty, and when you bite into the burger you can see the good quality of the beef. The cheese and sauce work so well. It is a smidge messy to eat, but so worth it. There is plenty of burger there considering the relative cheapness! Yes, some people may say that $15 for burger and chips is excessive, but I don't believe so when everything is of the best quality.

All I can say is that the alley burger is delicious. I have been back a second time now, and the burgers were just as delicious. I brought my partner with me this time. They loved the burger just as much! The service was the same friendliness as the first time I went two weeks prior. Like I said previously, you can't beat a great alley burger! Carney & Earl's is a great find, and I am positive that I will be back again!
