Review Fiasco Ristorante + Bar - Coffs Harbour

Speechless! This is one of the best pizzas I have had! The crust is soft but crunchy and the ham with the truffle oil is a perfect combination. The gnocchi was so soft and melt in your mouth and the ragu was a surprisingly good combination. A bit expensive but so worth it!

The environment is very nice, open kitchen and you can see the chefs working. However quite pricey and the quality is just average. Octopus was too tough, pizza dough was too dense, and the pasta did not absorb the flavour of the sauce.

My bf loves the slow cooked rabbit pasta (CAMPANELLA AL CONIGLIO), said he’ll come back again just for that dish. Be careful of the small bones though. Not feeling adventurous, I had the wood fired Ndujia pizza. Disappointed by the sparse pizza topping, mostly dough and simply wasn’t enjoyable, although we were hungry. At least the Tiramisu helped to end the meal well. I’d still come back here, just won’t order the pizza.

We visited the restaurant on a very wet and rainy evening, where everything in Coffs Harbour was already closed. Luckily we got a table and we were attended to by a warm and friendly server. We ordered the fries, Margherita pizza, roasted cauliflower and beef and pork ragu Gnocchi. Everything was exceptionally delicious. The Gnocchi was one of the lightest and tastiest I had eaten in a very long time. Would definitely recommend visiting this Italian gem in the coastal town on your next visit.

Fantastic food. We got the Zio pizza and gnocci ragu and both were incredible. If you're looking for a great Italian restaurant in Coffs this is a must try.

So disappointing. $32 for mush. I ordered the pizzoccheri pasta and I could not find one identifiable piece of pasta (see photos) it was so over cooked and just smothered with cheese. We expressed our concerns when paying however staff didn’t seem to care at all. Not to mention my partner ordered a lemonade (advertised as CAPI brand on the menu), watched the bartender lug a 2 litre bottle of Schweppes lemonade onto the bar and pour it into a glass, have it collected by the waitress and brought to our table, only to have her announce ‘and here is your CAPI lemonade’. He doesn’t care about brand- but seems weird for the restaurant to lie about it to keep up appearances…. Again- we did try to air our concerns in person instead of online, but they didn’t seem to care. Yikes.

The best option for a marinara pasta in Coffs Harbour is this restaurant with his perfectly hand made pasta and fresh seafood.... Go and choose FUSILLI PESCATORE!! You will enjoy this meal!!

I continue to return to Fiasco with frequency after eight years living in Coffs Harbour as I never fail to have an enjoyable experience. I can always be assured of receiving friendly and prompt service, delicious food and great cocktails and a wide variety of lovely wine. Last Saturday night was no exception. My group had a wonderful evening. Thank you Fiasco team!

I booked for Valentine's Day, was the first booking for the night as the girl on the telephone confirmed this and on going in my name was written on their book on the top line. The table we got though was the worst in the place - out the back next to 2 long tables of people 20pax per table - maybe having a work do or something. It was so noisy that we couldn't hear each other and it ruined the night & the money we paid for the meal (not cheap). The risotto was a little bit undercooked (I get they made from scratch but a little more cooking was needed) and my gnocchi was nice but the sauce a bit too plain - too much tomato paste that needed a bit more cooking - perhaps I have higher standards with Italian food as I am half Italian & had the privilege of being bought up on exceptional home cooked Italian food. So in review ok food but terrible atmosphere ruined by where they sat us. Ps I know it's old as it's October now but just appeared on my time line so jogged my memory.

Just paid $21 for a margarita pizza that not even my children wanted to eat. The sauce was watered down, hardly any flavor and the base was like cardboard.

The best italian ever. The food and service was that good we dined there two nights in a row. If you are in Coffs Harbour, this restaurant is a must.

Just had the best meal! Thanks team. Excellent Italian wine, great atmosphere and the freshest, tastiest gnocchi I've had in Australia! Other half had the duck ravioli and the balance of flavours was divine. Can I eat here every night please?!

Great restaurant with friendly knowledgeable staff. Beautiful food and wine which never disappoints. We live in Melbourne and when heading North, go out of our way to pass through Coffs Harbour just to have dinner here.

We came to fiasco's for my 21st and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. It took 2 hours for food for 4 people to even get to us and when it did it was terrible. The pizza base was so dry it tasted like cardboard and our pork pizza had 5 bits of pork on it. My dad's 300g steak was chopped up in tiny bits and COLD by the time it got to us. It then took another 20 minutes for sides to even arrive. The only saving grace was our wonderful waitress and the fish.

The best thin based wood fired pizza we've ever eaten! We ate here two nights in a row to make sure that the first night wasn't a dream. We'll definitely be back again next time where in Coffs Harbour. Will even go out of our way to make sure we stop in for another pizza on our way through to Qld

Have been here many times and never been disappointed. Fiasco is true to Italy in all of the dishes I have eaten. Pizzas are on par and mostly better than pizzas I ate in Italy, their pastas are the bomb! Hopefully people read this review and realise Italian Pizzas aren't meant to have too many ingredients (around 4ish max including sauce). Many of the bad reviews I have read lead me to believe those people should have gone to Dominoes or Pizza Hut. Best spot on the East Coast to get top notch Italian food! Get on it!

First time but not the last. The gnocchi was sensational, as was the pasta with rabbit. Great place for a special night.

The food was average for the price the toppings on the pizza were scant, the restaurant itself was lovely
