Great people good food good coffee, the best mushroom I have had in a long time

Walk in and Malabou is better than simply a cafe. It looks nice and has a great decor with a very casual and chic atmosphere. It's super pleasant to catch the morning sun on the patio out the Front. Surrounded by greenery. It feels homely The food has always been good, a simple fare but with a little something you can see and taste. The kitchen can be seen from the front of house and everything looks clean and interesting to boot. It's not a big place and has tables and lower chairs next to low tables for sitting with shirt orders and coffee. The Gents that run the place are nice and happily wear name badges. Adding to the casual and friendly feel. They are great hosts. I have had a few different breakfast items and have been happy every time. The coffee is good. There is an something nice about the place.

Fabulous little find... Great customer service. Spots in the sun or inside if you like. Kids had an amazing iced chocolate and muffin; and the brownie is amazing, accompanied by a great coffee. Will be back. 😁

We had breakfast there yesterday on the advice of a local friend. Service was excellent, fast and friendly, happily rearranging tables so we could get out of the rain. The menu is small but the poached eggs with tomato and mushrooms was delicious. The mushrooms are done in a light sauce with a hint of chilli. I'm not a chilli lover but they were very nice. I am very fussy about my hot chocolate and it was up there with the best. For afters I took home some carrot cake which had big pieces of walnut and pineapple. Yum. Today we called in after a disappointing lunch at the plaza. Spirits lifted after another delicious hot chocolate and a scrumptious slice of custard tart - very light custard with a crumble type base. We will be back. Our new Coffs Harbour favourite Cafe.

Very nicely decorated Cafe with a good traditional menu at affordable prices. Staff are friendly. Seating is either indoors or outdoors. Great spot for a leisurely breakfast on a weekend. The coffee is good also. Recommended
