Great service, we enjoyed our fresh and yummy chicken club sandwich in the sunny outside seating area.
The best food ever in Colac and charming setting and beautifully refurbished building. Very impressed indeed and will recommend this place to anyone driving by this way. Oh.. hubby ordered lamb shank- he loved the gravy and I had barramundi cooked just nice.
Wonderful experience, AMAZING food and delightful staff. Stumbled across this restaurant while walking. Just off Main Street but super nice and lovely outdoor seating.
Really happy that we stopped in. Modern, quirky decor. Fast service and food was great. Coffee was also really nice, would definitely recommend.
Popcorn chicken and pork belly were fantastic to share, absolutely delicious. Bruscetta was a little bland, needed more cheese to balance it out.
Great Food, Great Service. We stopped over in Colac after a few days on the GOR and Oddfellows Restaurant was recommended to us by some locals and they were spot on. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great (old church), the service very friendly and the food yum yum yum. Sadly we didn't know about the small room at the front of the restaurant that contains historical information about the building, but were told it's worth a look. I recommend dining at Oddfellows if you are looking for a nicer dinner venue than just a casual cafe come bistro. Approximately $60 per person for drink or 2 entree and main.
My favourite place in town. Oddfellows has come along in leaps and bounds over the last year or so, to the point where I don't even consider eating anywhere else in Colac. The food has a fantastic simplicity. The menu is concise so you know it's all fresh and everything is perfectly executed. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing and I love the way they've broken up what could be a cavernous space. The key to it now is consistency - I go there I know I'm not going to be disappointed. Probably my only suggestion is that they could improve the wine list a tad. There are a lot of excellent wines in the region that could help to give it a more of a bit more 'locavore' credibility
Lovely lunch. Wanted somewhere nice for lunch during our trip to the region and saw this so popped in. Friendly staff, delicious food and really happy to have found it. Entrees: beetroot and pumpkin salad and scallops Mains: Rack of lamb and gnocchi. Will definitely come here again.
OK country restaurant. Just off the main road in Colac is Oddfellows, it's nicely fitted out, with friendly staff welcoming you in (albeit a little odd they were eating lunch at the bar at 12:30pm, i.e. when they are busiest). Some heating on in the restaurant wouldn't go astray. Overall the food was ok, and being used to city prices didn't seem to bad, an ok place to stop for lunch, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.
Really good lunch and deserts. Big improver!
