Long time customer! Come up every few months with my mum and Aunty (who lives local- but it's a long way for us) and never have had a bad meal! Beautiful place with wonderful ambience and the staff are just excellent! We think you're all amazing! Yesterday we brought up some international friends who had a lovely time. Only negative was the menu change! We have seen many menu changes over the years now we have been coming but the new menu wasn't the best. Disappointing to see popular favourites gone (charcuterie plate, burger, thick chips, garden in a glass and before it the steak! ) and some others altered (the Melba was nowhere near as good as it was before). It was good to see the bread remained (and hopefully the chefs chutney that was on the charcuterie will still be available as it's my favourite and literally the only chutney I'll eat!). The midweek menu really had the stars though and they should be on the main menu (especially the pumpkin and spinach risotto which was probably the best risotto I've had outside of Italy!). With the main menu, I really struggled to select what to eat as very little appealed. 3/4 of our table actually went with the midweek menu for this reason. Please bring back some of the favourites! Will be back again however in a few months as we always do but hope to see a few more changes from the chef!
Amazing venue ! The staff were so attentive and the food and wine delicious. Great atmosphere and stunning location, I highly recommend !
