This little hidden spot is amazing. The seafood is amazing, the service was wonderful and the scenery perfect. Definitely a spot to visit.
The juiciest, plumpest oysters I have ever eaten. Scallops, Abalone and mussels to die for. This place is a definite must
the best fish and chips I ever had! Fish was so moist and lightly battered to the point.
oysters and mussels are very fresh and well flavoured, though the oysters not as fat and juicy as those in Bruny Island. Scallops also very tender. The bread roll was crusty good complement to eat with the seafood. Everything we ordered was yummy.
This place it's just incredible. Food is something from outside if this world.
Dishes are fresh and very tasty. Prices are good and the quality is great.
An extra point to the staff that's very friendly.
If you are around this part of Tasmania, this is a MUST stop in your trip. You won't regret it
Great Range of seafood options beyond oysters, large venue and friendly staff.
We had the 1/2 cray, natural mussels with lemon , oysters natural , kilkpatrick as well as the Freycinet style also.
Our favourite oysters were the Freycinet style, as it preserved the natural flavours of the oysters to come through, with sauces that allowed non-oyster lovers to also enjoy it. The least favourite would be the kilkpatrick ones, as the amount of bacon on each oyster was overpowering and we felt it wasn't the ideal way to enjoy these. If you hate the taste of oysters but somehow still want to have some then i recommend this option.
The mussels were delicious, i would happily order those again in lieu of the 1/2 cray which was good but not outstanding.
Big props to the staff who remained friendly and attentive despite the massive numbers of people during the holiday season.
We had lobster, oyster, prawns n garlic scallops for lunch. Absolutely the best fresh seafood I've had. Reasonable prices, good service and staff. Plenty of tables to sit at. Great selection of beers n wines to complement the fantastic food. Don't go past it. Highly recommended.
Came well recommended and a very well organised business. Ample parking and en route to the National Park. The oysters we're super flavoursome and really liked the different types available. We were grazing all day along the road so opted for something light, but could definitely go back there and smash a bowl mussels or lobster. Would recommend a stop over if you're on the way to wineglass bay or similar.
Nice place for a quick bite. Except that there's a huge selection of seafood, that we hung around for a bit. Lovely fresh oysters and lobsters. Fish and chips were on point, light airy batter. Yum. Chips were crispy and very morish. 2 thumbs up.
Staff were nice and friendly. The food came out really quickly and it was really efficient.
Prefer this over the lobster shack and the drive up was really nice.
Hope everyone can come and visit!
If you like seafood I highly recommend a visit. This place has a small and focussed menu using local seafood. I had the pan fried whole snapper and oyster kilpatrick. The flavours were very nice, portions generous though my snapper had too much salt. Please keep up the great work!
