Review N Lee Bakery - Collingwood

Fat 2 Fit Lisa
I read a lot of great reviews about this place before visiting and I'm going to add to that collection!!!. I visited on a Sunday lunch time and had the BBQ chicken on a wholemeal roll with extra coriander. OMG it was packed with flavour and filling and all for a bargain $6.50!!! I have to say this is one of the best cheap eats around inner city Melbourne so head on down and try it out for yourself. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Onnida Thammapratheep
I didn't try their food but had an iced Vietnamese coffee. It was nice and I like the taste but I personally think it's a little steep for $6.10 and get not even a full glass of coffee.

Great banh mi’s here. Ordered the crispy pork banh mi and a meat pie for a friend. Bread was soft on inside and crunchy on outside, and generous with the crispy pork. Only issue I had here was it was on the little expensive side for a banh mi ($9.30). Accepts EFTPOS which is handy! Highly recommend going to Peel Street Park and eating there out in the sun.

N. Lee banh mi lives up the hype for being one of the best in Melbourne and most accessible for those living in the inner city. Not all fillings are created equal with the best flavour to try is the chicken and pork combo. Whipped Mayo is the binding spread here which I gladly welcomed. Drinks on the otherhand were average and slightly subpar with a dearer price tag if you're going for Vietnamese coffee/drinks. Service is as expected and they're a lovely shopfront and I recommend this place and the options yoy can get.

Alright I'm going to say it. This was the best Bánh mì I have ever had. Was the crispy pork and I loved it! Fresh bread, meat cooked to perfection, ratio of the ingredients on point. Not a dull bite! Thoroughly enjoyed!! Will be back for more.

$10.30 for a pork Bahn mi with crackling is too expensive. It’s good no doubt but not one of the best anymore unfortunately. Roast pork is a tad dry too but the pate is excellent.
Steven McMeechan
The worst Banh Mi I've ever eaten. I ordered "grilled chicken" and instead received what was more like some sort sausage meat. I questioned what is was and the girl at the counter said "that's chicken". Whatever...
James Twite
Legendary Bahn mi on Smith Street. Decently priced and always hella fresh. Can get quite busy around lunch hours so best to get in early if you want to be out in a decent time.
George Litho
Great as always!!! Pork rolls to die for!!!! Bread rolls are amazing!!

Insta: melbfoodie_mark
YT: MelbFoodieMark
** Check them out for more food reviews in Melbourne!
-
I was strolling around in Fitzroy-Collingwood area enjoying the weather when I found this cozy bakery cafe full of locals. One of the workers recommended me 'Crispy Pork Belly Banh Mi' so I decided to give that a go. I was first surprised by the generous portion of meat inside the fresh baguette. Pork Belly was crispy but slightly dry on the outside. Regardless, it was soft, fatty and juicy inside! I also liked how it was filled with fresh veggies with lots of chili and coriander - just perfect! :) Overall, it sure was delicious but nothing outstandingly special. Worth a visit only if you are in the area👌
Mistermister
Bloody brilliant Banh Mi with cold meats. Pate was spot on! Egg, Bacon and cheese toastie just so moorish. These guys know what they are doing. Get there before 12 to avoid the massive queue.
Terence Go
The rolls are good but the customer service is questionable. I went there a few times, and didn't have good experience .. not friendly, not smiling and no "thank you". What's wrong with these people.

There are other better Vietnamese rolls with friendlier service slightly further down Smith Street from where this shop is, e.g. Sunny Bakery!

I won't go back to this one ever again.
Thats My Food
N.Lee is very famous for their Bahn Mi in Melbourne. So I went there to try them out. After the first bite, they became one of my favorites. I got a grilled pork Bahn Mi ($6.30) with a little bit of chili. Vietnamese chili is the spiciest one I’ve ever had so I add a very small amount which is enough to add a little bit of kick to the flavor of the dish.

Wow. We drove a long way based on reputation and it did not disappoint.
One of the best proportioned banh mi’s in the country. Excellent crunchy tiger bread that does not crumble, making it a low mess affair with a perfect ratio of crunch, marinated meats and pickled perfection.
Highly recommend
HEARD Magazine
Banh Mi thats all we need to say this place is an institution in the Collingwood area and its a reputation that has been rightly deserved.

Doesn't matter what time of the day there is always someone lining up for a Banh mi here.

Not to mention they are reasonably priced and won't break the bank. They also have some favourites here as well. Traditional sandwiches, hot food, pies, sausage rolls and donuts as well as other tasty treats.

Outside of the banh mi, we love their spring roll snack packs.

A recommendation for anyone in the area.
ElCompass
Probably the closest bánh mi you will get to being like what you'll find in the Vietnamese enclave of Footscray/St Albans/Abbotsford! Perfect for when you crave a baguette with proper Asian butter/mayo and pate.
Jason Griffin
This place has to be one of the best value lunches in Melbourne. There is always a line outside this place and for good reason. The grilled BBQ pork rolls are to die for and the only thing you should decide on is chilli or no chilli. Trust me this won’t disappoint. How do you give 6/5 stars.........
Jesse (The Ghost)
Came here just now. Ordered myself a pork roll and they made me two! Paid for both so didn’t get any special treatment but did get two bloody good pork rolls. Didn’t get anything else and I’m now back at work getting ready to get back into it.

Love this place !! Amazing Service! Really well priced food great place for breakfast on your way to school or work, can get quite busy but definitely worth the wait! They always are super lovely and friendly here :) I recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee, pastries are super good too :D

Do love these simple bakeries which are in three locations around Melbourne. This one today is in Smith Street, Collingwood. I can always tell by the queues that they are popular and gets extremely busy during lunch hour.

I had a crispy pork belly banh mi which was awesome with generous portion size. Under $10 with a drink.

This is mostly for takeaway although there are some tables outside.

I'm told the Vietnamese rolls are good so will try them next time.

Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/stroller friendly. Parking - well it's Smith Street so watch out for vigilant parking inspectors.
Keith Lawrence
Unassuming little bakery - the long queues at lunch time indicate there's something special on offer. Sandwiches made to order - and the pork belly/crispy pork banh mi something pretty special. Mainly take-away of a couple of tables outside - it's hardly fine dining! But then at $6 what do you expect?
Audrey Kate
Delicious and freshly made food. The banh mi is always tasty; the rolls nice and crispy with a good amount of meat. The staff are also happy to customise your order as they go. Furthermore, they have some of the most delicious Nutella donuts I’ve had to date! The long line outside the shop is there for a reason - thankfully it’s relatively fast moving
Steven Gu
N. Lee Bakery cafe in Collingwood. Always busy and long queue during lunch time. BBQ pork roll is definitely a must try for Vietnamese street food. It is tasty but personally I like the Tina’s and Nhu Lan bakery better.
Rifan Thamrin
This place is my go to banh mi if I'm around Collingwood. It's located along Smith St - you should be able to spot the place from a distance (look for a long queue). This place gets really packed during the day because they sell bomb sandwiches, especially the Vietnamese rolls!! Go for BBQ chicken or crispy pork!
Mi55Bee
Good banh mi and crispy baguette with fresh fillings! Pork crackling and grilled pork is the most popular but everything else is good too - buzzing with people but worth the cheap and quick service
Cheesy.boys
Best Bahn Mi you’ll find in Melbourne. Everything is so fresh. The grilled pork comes hot straight off the pan as well as the grilled onion which is a unique touch. Don’t be surprised if there’s a line out the door. It’s definitely worth the wait.
@ageci21
I'm a big fan of Vietnamese pork roll's. And N. lee doesn't disappoint the BBQ pork roll being one of the best around. It's fresh and quality ingredients make it a real Winner 👍
Katrina Chen
Had my first bahn mi experience here! They have set the bar high. I ordered the crispy pork bahn mi and it was packed with flavour!!! So generous with the filling. Best paired with an iced coffee 👍
FoodN
I couldn’t believe it that I had to line up for a roll..but I did and it was worth the wait (the line moves quite quickly). BBQ pork roll was a steal at only $6.80. Some of the servers were more generous with the fillings, so the size of your roll will depend on who you get. The roll itself was light and crispy. Maybe not the healthiest lunch but there are a lot of worse options out there!
Revolver
Very tasty pork rolls. Although a little expensive for the roast pork with crackling. In Springvale you can get just as good quality for $4.50.
Vietnamese cold coffee is way overpriced. $2.50-$3.00 in Springvale. That being said, I would be glad to go back.
LouLou Loves Food
Hands down one of Melbourne’s best banh mi. Crisp rolls, hot juicy pork, pate and fresh veggies. There’s always a line during lunch hour but it moves quickly and you’ll be out with your roll in no time. And it’s under $6. Winning!!!
Speccy
I can't believe I've ONLY just discovered this bahn mi place after living in collingwood area for 2 yrs now. Of course I'd heard about it, but I incorrectly assumed it would be all white bread & fatty cheap meat. I walked in skeptically thinking what is this hype about, & I can now see exactly what !! Fresh wholemeal bread can be requested, you can get as many veggie fillings as you like (they are super generous). I got roast chicken in mine which was delicious. The pork pate a great accompaniment to all the delicious fresh fillings & best bit - $7!!!
Hangry Horace
My friend and I came here around noon on a Thursday to grab a Vietnamese roll. There was a short line outside the store but the line was moving fairly quickly. We both ordered the pork belly with crackling banh mi and it was pretty tasty. I like how the roll was still warm too. I wish the crackling was crispier though. There isn't much seating at the store itself. It's better to grab and enjoy the banh mi at the nearest park. This place is also cash only.
Lady In Bread
I. Love. Bakeries. And I also love. Banh. Mi. But here, these noisy gals do a crazy good sesame seed knot roll, sliced ham, cheese, iceberg or mixed lettuce, avo ( no butter ) pickled carrot ( asian delight ) and salad onion, just like you had in the 90’s, with maybe a caramel slice and an iced coffee. It’s more a walk in thing off the street, with three tables on the sidewalk. They definitely tick over a price in their heads that doesn’t really commute, then just say anything, which at times can be a little pricey compared to the last time, but, so, simple and delicious. Banh Mi’s are the average price as a constance here, and over lunch, sometimes half of Collingwood are lining up for them.

The French definitely did well teaching the Viets how to roll. — ( whoops )
Iris Myandowski
I'm told this is the white person user friendly Vietnamese bakery. But can we talk about the scam that is Vietnamese iced coffee? $6 for a thimble of coffee poured over ice? Tasty though.
Lifecycle
Love love this bakery. It is our regular weekend ritual to drop in to get the Vietnamese roll. Have been doing it for the last 10 years. Trust me, the rolls are just so so good. Double 5 stars!
Pip M
Hands down - The most amazing banh mi in Melbourne!!!! I always get the grilled pork banh mi with extra meat & extra patê!!!! Delicious!!!!
I drive out of my way and across town just for this banh mi... so good!
PlasterPillow
Fantastic Vietnamese rolls! The bread is so crispy and the fillings are generous. They also make coffee that puts some 'specialty' coffee joints around the area to shame. Quick service and cheap prices. You'll always find a line around lunch time, it is that popular.
Mel
Love a good, fresh Vietnamese roll with lots of chili & coriander - and that's exactly what we got at N.Lee. Simple fare made well and well priced - there really is nothing you can complain about!
Donutsam
N. Lee offers the best baguette bread in town, and of the many banh mi options on Smith Street, it’s generally the busiest. The queues are worth it, my last roll was the pork belly ($7 ish I think) and you can’t put a fault on the addictive mix of butter, pate and salad. I do slightly prefer the pork belly used at Trang or Master Roll but still good. Great value is so easy to find at N.Lee and oh so pleasant on the wallet.
Gerd
Everything a bakery/sandwich shop should be (take note Subway). N Lee is an institution here on Smith St. Have the Vietnamese pork roll with the chilli and sit outside and watch the queue snake up the street as you bite into the crunchy, fragrant, tangy goodness. $5.80 worth of Michelin Star experience.
Pasta Of Muppets
Adding to the legions of fans before me, this is THE place for a Banh Mi in Melbourne. Grilled pork, extra chilli with dried shallots and you're set. Crispy baguette on the outside, soft on the inside with plenty of goodness in between. Pure Genius.
"JT" Jeffrie Trika
Goodness doesn't have to cost a fortune .....

Clean shop, pleasant service, fresh stuff and even branded paper packaging, impressive.

$2.00 for a plain croissant and $2.30 for a chocolate croissant and they are impressive at that prices. Anyway you look at it you can't really go wrong when there's a shop not far from there that sells a plain croissant for $5.50.

It's comforting to see these days that goodness doesn't have to cost a fortune and business owner serving the community and it's not all about profit, how do they do it?
Reviewer91
Amazing, amazing, amazing. Best pork rolls and the best fresh bread made daily! On top of this, the prices are so cheap and reasonable! I have recommended this place to my friends.
J
Unlike its South Melbourne counterpart, this banh mi bakery is open on Saturdays! Hoorayyyy! Definitely worth the queues N Lee make the best banh mi's in Melbourne. Crusty bread rolls on the outside and soft on the inside. The meat to vegie ratio is perfect as is their homemade pate. They correctly pickle their carrots unlike some bakeries who try to get away with normal carrot or worse still, COLESLAW. The line is out the door, but the waits are not long. FYI don't forget to bring cash only.
MSY123
Safe to say this is one of my favourite Bánh Mì shop in Melbourne and with that crazy high score, a lot of other people's also.
Been here quite a few times and the rolls are consistently fresh and tasty, with generous portions of filling.
Add Fresh Chilli, for that sugar on top.
N. Lee, you so fine.
ElsewhereBriefly
Came here expecting great things, given the rating and the reviews, and was a bit disappointed. It wasn't terrible, but it isn't the most amazing around. The baguette bread wasn't really crisp enough or flaky on the outside. The crackling pork filling was also missing crunch. Given that that was the entire point of picking that filling, that was a letdown. Couldn't taste the pate component. Good amount of vegetables in it though. Staff were friendly.
Still waiting for Melbourne to catch up with other places as far as smoking laws go. It is meant to be a mainly takeaway food place. There are three little tables outside you can sit at to eat though. It was unpleasant to find cigarette filter ash all over the available table, and then just gross to have people sit down at the next table afterwards and envelop us in a cloud of cigarette smoke. Makes the eating environment rubbish.
Mista Baby Spinach
Another great review of this place might make the line longer but dont be intimidated, it moves quickly and it will also give you the chance to overhear some of the regulars topping combinations to give you some ideas, Everything here tastes unbelievable on their fresh rolls, which are a little heavier than some of the other bahn mi places around, a good thing. I started with a pork roll bahn mi, the pate changed my life and i've never looked back.

I visited this place for a Sunday lunch and it is the best Banh Mi place I've been too in Melbourne. It is super fresh and tasty. My partner and I tried the roast pork and the bbq pork which were fantastic. This place is worth a try for someone wanting a tasty, affordable and filling lunch!
Crispymelbreview
I have been frequenting this Vietnamese bakery for years, and for only $5 with change their pork roll in a softy crispy roll is one of the most delicious treats in Melbourne. For extra punch just ask them to include some chilli sauce. The queue is always long but it moves quickly with the efficient, friendly staff. One of my favourites places in Melbourne and wholeheartedly recommended.

After visiting Vietnam and Hoi An, in particular, no banh mi in Melbourne was as satisfying till I visited N Lee. Great banh mi and iced vietnamese coffee, that took me back to Hoi An and the sweet old lady that made seriously awesome banh mi.
Skinny Glutton
“I would have crawled naked across broken glass to get here.” – Anthony Bourdain . N Lee is unmatched in providing delicious banh mi, also known as Vietnamese pork rolls. I know this because I have held regular banh mi-tings over the past year, trialing Vietnamese bakeries on their ability to deliver a juicy, buttery, pork roll.
Joy
So happy I found this place!!!! I just don't seem to associate collingwood and Fitzroy with honest, no frills Vietnamese food! But today I came across the Vietnamese bakery where I had a banh mi that rivaled the ones I love getting from Footscray.

Being a 41 degree day, I chose a pork loaf Banh mi - cold and refreshing and super tasty. The bread is the highlight, it was so freshly made. All washed down with an amazing Vietnamese ice coffee. Will be regularly visiting this place.

I love N. Lee Bakery. It is hands down the best banh mi I've ever had, including my banh mi binge in Vietnam. I've found most places around the world fall short on replicating the traditional Vietnamese street sandwich, but N. Lee exceeds it. What really sets it apart is the bread. Usually it's so fresh that when they cut into it it's still steaming. It's the right amount of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside that's easy to bite into. I've tried their pork loaf, grilled pork and tofu banh mi at this location, which is cheaper than the CBD location's prices.
Cheese Fiend
I go the pork belly roll, with Vietnamese salad (comes standard with pate, coriander, carrot etc) add avo and chilli. Comes to about $7. One of the tastiest things I have eaten.
Mary Quinn
Best quality and best value. Staff helpful. Sometime there's a long line but it moves fast. Worth it! Tofu Vietnamese roll a favourite. Coffee reasonable too.
HatesBadFood
Where do I even start? One of the best Vietnamese bakery in Melbourne or even southern hemisphere! Roast pork roll is my favourite because they actually spend time refrying them to make them warm and juicy! I have brought almost everyone I know to this joint!
Melbourne Foodie
Have been coming here for around 20 years for there beautiful banh mi. Crunchy rolls with beautiful fresh fillings means you need to be prepared to queue up but they are worth the effort.
Eat The Streets
First time here and tried the new crackling pork sandwich. Just the right balance of sweet, salty, sour and spicy. Not to mention, cheap too! Loved it!
Rhys
If only it was a little closer to me! Tofu rolls so delicious and cheap I'd eat it for lunch most days. Sometimes I even eat lunch at 10:30 to beat the queue and enjoy even fresher bread. Never disappoints and really is pocket change...
Scrantic
Grilled pork roll is my go to but with their new addition of crackling pork I'm torn as to what my favourite is these days. Always busy always people out the door.
Spanna3
Tofu roll happiness!!!!!

Always fresh and delicious

I fell in love with the humble banh mi after eating a few in Vietnam; when they’re done freshly and properly, they’re just about the best sandwich you could possibly ask for... I’ve been a little hesitant to start my banh mi hunt back at home, because I know what they’re meant to taste like now. What if my very high expectations are dashed?... A quick fact finding mission led me to N. Lee Bakery. I was already familiar with the name, given the one on Collins St near the post office that I pass every now and then while I’m out running work errands. The one husband and I visited was the Smith St store. We rolled up just before 12pm on a sunny Saturday, and found ourselves around 8 deep in the already growing line. By the time we’d ordered and sat down to unwrap our sandwiches, we looked up and saw this line out the door. It was crazy!
Lisa Holmen
Do the crowds at N. lee bakery ever cease? I think not. And for good reason, the family run business is still one of Melbourne’s cheapest eats for lunch. My tip – the banh mi roll.
The World Loves Melbourne
N Lee Bakery is the tipping point between bringing your lunch to work or getting a really cheap but sensational lunch at this place for probably less than you could make it yourself.

N Lee Bakery has been on the scene for some time and has built up a good number of regulars. To get such a consistently high rating on Urbanspoon is quite a feat. There's a lot of love going around for N Lee Bakery. N Lee Bakery is a great place to come for breakfast with buns and pies and pastries. Sit by the window and read the paper and enjoy one of their excellent coffees. Breakfast deals also win points with diners.

Awesome Bakery. Best place to get viet rolls apart from Richmond / Springvale / Footscray! And reasonably priced too.
Kc
Smashed a Vietnamese pork meatball salad roll in 5 seconds flat-doesn't get any better!
HANGRYmonster
The best. This place is an institution and if you go on Saturday afternoons you'll get bread straight out the oven. Mouth watering BBQ pork rolls.
Supercallafraga
Good food, not so great service. The rolls are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the bánh mì is overall very tasty. While the prices are affordable, it's very irritating that the same sandwich can be a different price depending on the day and who's making it. You also have to really pay attention as they make your item, especially if you go during rush hour (12-2) as they often forget things - like the meat itself (this has happened 3 times to me). I've been going here a long time and have noticed that the staff have recently become very parsimonious with the fillings. A yummy sammich, but don't expect any generosity, smiles or friendly banter (even if you're a regular!).
Jun
U thought the best bang mi is in footscray or Vic st??? Wrong!!! N lee is the best, the best tasting pate in bread n the most crispy bread! I could eat this everyday, with extra extra chicken liver pate.
Good Food Chaser
Lots of Choices.

I like what I had on my first try (Vietnamese grilled pork roll), although I would prefer less margarine/butter next time. Although I would not really rank it up high. There are Vietnamese roll places just as good, however there are more choices here for other options - which I think explains the really good rating. It captures more tastes of more clients.
Matt H Kennedy
Nice but nothing special, and super-skimpy compared to the best Vietnamese Bakeries.... Every day I see the lemmings who wet their pants over (and queue for) this nice, but average and rather underwhelming Vietnamese bakery.

I say 'underwhelming' as I'm used to grilled beef rolls from Vietnamese bakeries all over Southern/Inner West Sydney which not only taste just as good, but have twice the amount of food (they're like the roll version of the Tardis) for the same $4.50. To me, N. Lee is another example of a food joint taking advantage of Melbourne faux-foodies.
Max Danger
Grilled Pork Roll BOO YAH. The grilled pork rolls at this shop bring meaning to my life.
Melb Foodie
Best vietnamese sandwiches in Melbourne!. This place is as perfect as a sandwich shop gets. Seriously. AMAZING

I love getting porked at N.Lee!

Delicious pork baguette, absolutely delicious. So simple and yet so very satisfying. And unbelievably priced, $4.30 !!!

I go to the one on Lt Collins St and the Vietnamese pork rolls are to die for! Well worth the daily queue!

What's a great Bacon & egg + coffee. I really fall in love with this bakery.
Their bacon & egg is so great, look like they always fresh bake their rolls.
The coffee is awesome as well
GolfDeltaFoxtrot
Bland, stale, uninviting.... IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT how you would describe this charming little bakery that specialise in the delight that is a 'Vietnamese Roll'. To the owners: you're doing the world a favour by supplying it with your great food. Please. Don't. Ever. Change.
Sandeep
This place is a bakery that does pies, sandwiches and importantly, it does traditional Vietnamese pork rolls.
These rolls are only $4.50 and have fresh carrot, coriander, pate and traditional Vietnamese dressing. Sitting outside with one of these and a ginger beer is a nice way to spend lunch, although there are only 10 or so seats and in no way is it a fancy place.
Definitely worth trying especially if in the Collingwood or Fitzroy.
The Dude Enjoys Food
Try the bacon egg roll do yourself a favor with BBQ sauce v nice. They need to work on their coffee good but not great. vietnamese pork rolls very good great value
Kathryn Narelle
THE BEST VIET ROLL IN MELB. Ok so we are currently obsessed with vietnamese rolls and we have tried a few and NOTHING compares to a grilled pork vietnamese roll from N.Lee bakery. Be prepared to line up out the door during lunch hours.
Gagwood
Best grilled pork rolls in melbourne. Grilled pork roll + chilli = HEAVEN

I think about N Lee practically on a daily basis and my only complaint is it is too far from my work !!
Raymon Ching
Been all over searching for a rival but after eating these viet pork rolls for the last ten years, they top of the heap!
Paul Clock
Yummy rolls. This place has obscenley friend staff - them alone are worth coming back for everyday for lunch.
BUT the chicken and salad rolls are cheap and fresh as.
AND at half the price of subway you gotta love everything about this place
Pantha J
Cheap Cheap. Clean, friendly and cheap. for the standard bakery fair this place is great. can't go wrong.
Tess Whicheloe
Best Grilled Pork!. Can't go wrong with a Vietnamese Grilled Pork baguette, just like you are in Saigon! Best hangover cure or great for breakfast, lunch &/or dinner. Take it easy on the chilli sauce if you are not in to that!
ChasingSuns
Best Lunch (THE BEST) 9.8/10. Hands down best value lunch going around. $4.50 for the best pork roll (or probably pretty much any roll) of your life. Authentic and stupid tasty. Donuts are also excellent. Rice paper rolls great. Meat pies are no good. Sausage rolls are very good. Staff variable but overall good. Who cares, just get the grilled pork roll. Worth lining up. This owns any other Vietnamese sandwich bar in Melbourne.
Brunny Girl
Mobile review. A favourite lunch spot. huge prawn rice paper rolls for $5. The accompanying sauce comes with an option of fresh chill & fried onion. Great value.
They also do a mean avocado, chilli & coriander roll.
Apprentice Bossman
Best Vietnamese rolls on Smith Street. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is very cheap and always tastes good. Especially if you get served by Bossman!!
Ilovefood
Yum!. My fave place to get the delicious Vietnamese Pork Rolls in their fresh bread rolls!! :D
Feathers
LOVE. I love love love their vietnamese grilled pork rolls, with suspicious home made mayo, pate and sauces. and loads or fresh corriander, carrot and chili.
sometimes there's a line out the door, and its easy to see why!

Sharyn Honey
Have the pork roll!!!! Go out if your way to try one. So yummy and the best value I've had in ages.

The legendary Banh Mi – Vietnamese BBQ Pork Roll, crusty white baguette, pate, carrot, sweet bbq pork with that pink edge, chilli, coriander – DIVINE!! There is a reason that no matter which N. Lee Bakery you are at there is a queue out the door, and for good reason this is quite possibly the best lunchtime treat ever!! This is soooo good! Gorgeous fresh white baguette, sturdy enough to carry the many elements that make this a perfect sandwich! Luscious, meaty pate meats sweet, succulent bbq pork. Fragrant fresh coriander plays with hot red chilli and carrot is a fresh crunch! Take me home N. Lee!

N. Lee Bakery is the real deal. The Vietnamese pork roll are excellent.
