Typical fish and chips shop. Nothing fancy but no complaints. Good quality fish and price good...... the homemade chocolate mousse very good too đ
Have been picking up Takeaway from here for many years and have always been very happy with the food quality and timely service.Finally dined in at the Colonel Light Gardens Shop yesterday and had a lovely lunch. Presented well on a large plate, with salad on the side. The shop looked really clean too, along with the table. Very inviting.The prawns are the best I've ever had and the chips are perfect most of the time.BB's will continue to be my favourite place for takeaway Seafood and now also as a dine in, for a light lunch. Recommend!
Who doesn't love Barnacle Bill's? Quality seafood, all the oldies agree! My go to is the 2 in 1 snack pack, generous serve of prawns and the fishettes are always fresh and hot. Canât go wrong
Had dinner from here last night, and was really impressed with the food. Cooked to perfection, tender on the inside and crunchy outside! Tasted great too. I had a little wait as the shop was quite busy, although almost on closing time. But it was well worth the wait!

First visit to a Barnacle Bill and we definitely enjoyed the experience. It was very busy at lunch and the girl at the counter did a great job. We enjoyed the food and recommend the 'Spoiler' which gives you a bit of everything.

When you need that really cost effective fish! Damn, i have some addiction.... guess its something from growing up in south australia!
A great place to have a meal, on the run,or to sit in side in the comfortable airconditing, food is very reasonably priced, car parking is ok, but if you get there in a busy time, around 6pm you might have to park over the road where the Golden Chicken is.
