We had a great meal Largo Di Como last night. The veal prosciutto saltimbocca was perfect for a wintery night and the staff were all very warm and friendly...almost like you were having a meal at a friend's house. Happy to recommend this lovely, relaxed restaurant if you are looking for delicious Italian food in a warm environment with passionate and friend staff. What a little gem - thanks for dinner!
Amazingly friendly staff, we rocked up just as they were closing and while they were about to have leaving drinks for one of their staff, and they still went above and beyond to accomodate us. Incredible traditional italian pizza by far the best i've had anywhere in Australia.
Absolutely loved the food and the service, best Italian food in Perth I have had. Could finish every meal and could even have desert and my belly is feeling fantastic!!
Taking the family in the week coming.. Have to share this Jewell with people you love!!
Brilliant!!
Another fabulous wood fired pizza from Antonio & Co. W loves his new ‘friends’ and insists we go as our ‘treat’ each week! He even wants to learn Italian!!!!
Such a lovely restaurant. The staff are so friendly, attentive and sometimes entertaining 😄. Service is efficient and fast, but they don't rush you. Food is great. Two of us ordered a pizza and a pasta dish and said we wanted to share, so we were served food with two plates etc without having to remind them. Perfect weeknight relaxed meal.
This is the first time we have been to Lago Di Como and it was a great night. Our booking was for 17 people + kids for my wife's birthday. With the owners recommendation we organized a set menu for all and it was superb. The food was authentic Italian and so delicious, the service (bearing in mind the size of our long table of 17+) was fantastic with a real family home feel. We had a night to remember and we'll certainly be back. Thank you for making my wife's birthday special.
This Restaurant and all the staff is very nice....but the pizza is the best pizza in all Australia!!!!!!
Thank for the very Italian moment and the good food and company!!!!!!!!!
Loved the authentic Italian food, and the atmosphere with very friendly staff. Would and do recommend their lovely restaurant
Delicious food and fabulous service! I had food envy and should have orders the gnocchi! Thank you ☺️ pizza and arancini was delicious ......
Came tonight for an anniversary dinner. Service was very friendly and prompt.
Our mains (pan friend gnocchi, pizza and lamb cutlets) were outstanding. Our desserts; Nutella dreams and espresso crumble cheesecake, were some of the best we've ever had- absolutely delicious!!! Thank you so much for a great night.

Found this place through the entertainment book and it is my new go to pizza place. I've been here 3 times this year already. Pizzas are simple, but the combination of high quality ingredients, wood fire and skill makes it perfect!
Staff are attentive and the owner seems to always be there and very friendly.
Portions are typical for italian places, smallish and you'll need to have an antipasto and a main, so we normally share pizza and mains.
Recommended:
Sfiziosa
Lago di Como (the gorgonzola is very sparse, which my wife who doesn't normally like blue cheese prefers, but if you love blue cheese add more gorgonzola)
Gnocchi something (the only gnocchi)
Nutella dreams for the chocolate lover in you
I was a bit apprehensive about coming here because all the recent reviews have scored very poorly but overall I enjoyed my dining experience. The staff are all so lovely and the food is pretty damn good.
We started off with the deep fried pizza balls which should just be called "amazeballz" on the menu. Balls of crunchy fluffy dough tossed in garlic oil and herbs. Yum! For mains I had the lamb ravioli with mushroom sauce. The portion was decent. I mopped all the sauce up with the "amaze balls."
The "Nutella dreams" dessert of Nutella filled doughnuts with ice cream was also delish!
A couple of let downs were the chips which came out pale and soggy. The chocolate lava cake was over cooked and did not have an oozey middle but it wasn't dry and was still tasty. The dessert menu was also very chocolatey - choc cheesecake, choc lava cake, Nutella dreams, and Nutella calzone so a bit more variety would be good.
The staff were super friendly and the service was great! The food was absolutely delicious and did not take long at all. Will definitely be returning to Lago Di Como!
Really impressed with Lago Di Como- new owner and wow what a difference! I loved the mussels- and the fried pizza balls- "amazeballs" as my daughter said. Hubby had the lasagna and loved it, the Ragu gnocchi was also amazing. But the crowning glory is definitely the Nutella dream - which is basically fresh doughnuts filled with hot Nutella. We will definitely be back!!
New owners? Definitely new attitude. Delightful. They cook delicious food and served professionally with a smile.
Good value and enough variety of food and drinks to keep us happy.
The Eggplant Parmigiana is a star!
A nice Italian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is good. The service time was reasonable. My husband and I had three courses with a drink each and coffee. The cost was reasonable at $111.00 for both of us. I can recommend the Eggplant Parmigiana. This is a family restaurant and a little noisey. Will go back again.
Lago di Como was an Italian food restaurant located nearby Grand Cinemas Cygnet. It has been around for quite some time but we never actually dined there until Alberto invited us there. There were a lot of mix reviews on the internet which I read before I visited the place. Alberto informed me that the restaurant is now under a new management.
Took our chances, not having been to this restaurant for about 2 years, but now under new management, new décor, new food and exceptionally friendly and attentive Italian waitstaff - this is a neighbourhood shining gem!!
The food was delicious: its presentation, portions, flavours and prices were really pleasing. We had pizza, squid tasting board and garden salad. All were beautifully served, tasting as wonderful as they looked. Unfortuantely we couldn't fit in any desserts, but I believe they are house made and im looking forward to trying the tiramisu next time! This is a family run business - the care and warmth shows. From the moment we walked in we were attended to with smiles, explanations and friendly conversation. Just the perfect balance of everything at Lago Di Como. Bellisimo!!
We dined in a large party on a Saturday night. Place was busy and the staff were very friendly. Alberto was welcoming as usual. I was there a year ago and he remembered my visit, what an amazing hospitality professional. He said the Tiramisu was made by his Dad, wish my dad could cook like that. My bro does a mean tiramisu garnished with curly wurly chocolate bars but not as good as Alberto's father. Clever presentation, in a jar, with lid.
Bread to start was amazing, hot and buttery. My rib steak was average, chewy and undercooked. Broccoli had seen better days. Chips were hand cut and delicious.
We had to wait a while for order to be taken and there was a little confusion when some of the dishes arrived.
Staff were exceptional, genuine Italian. We even got some Italian lessons for free.
Wood eye return. O yes. Butt it wuz knot the same without my uber nieces who where soo gud to der uncle. Wood I recommend it as a child friendly place? O yes, Alberto has a special way of making the kids veal welcum. Good old fashioned service. Viva la Roma or Como.
Awesome pizza and really yummy tiramisu. Nice atmosphere and great service, the owner Alberto was extremely welcoming. Highly recommended. We will defenately be back. 😉
My fab husband and I dined at Lago Di Como tonight. We have sneakily become regulars here, usually with our two teen large appetites in tow. Tonight we were served by an attentive waitress with a thick accent, a warm smile and cute denim vest! Our service was prompt, welcoming and friendly. Orders were taken quickly and the bottle of Pinot was on the table within minutes...just the way I like it! At ease is the mood regulated by Lago Di Comi.
Dinner was a margarita pizza for starters followed by the slow cooked lamb ravioli, warm olives and garden salad. My husband finished with the drowned affogoto, of which I stole spoonfuls of.
In summary - quick, attentive service - solid home style Italian meals - comfortable alfresco setting to while away the time and a great bottle of wine.
The only thing missing was...Alberto!

Sad to say I had to adjust my review down. Another work dinner and while the food was delicious, the service was disorganised. They lost our docket despite three requests for follow up on our meals. An hour later we received our food, although it seemed we were given any pizza rather than the one ordered, and the ravioli though delicious was lukewarm at best. They seem to struggle with a full restaurant.
Hosted a work dinner here on Thursday for five. The outside seating was perfect on a summer evening, the service was attentive, friendly and prompt. The food - absolutely delicious! We had the Margerita and Sicilia pizza for starters and they were hot, crispy, light and perfect. The garlic bread had plenty of obviously fresh garlic and was delicious. The Margerita was so good I had a second round for mains! My colleagues had the spaghetti marinara, spaghetti bolognese and the veal scaloppine.
Everyone was full of praise with every dish cleaned except mine, since I couldn't fit another bite in! Fortunately they offered to doggy bag my leftover pizza so I was a hit with the 16 year old at home. Our manager had an especially good time chatting in Italian all night and you know how Italians are; everyone busy working out if they were somehow related!
Some small niggles; an additional order was nearly forgotten and I was left waiting to be asked if I wanted a second drink for about 15 minutes, but these are minor quibbles in an otherwise wonderful experience.
Overall a wonderful night, and every single one of us will be back again for more.
Lovely busy Italian restaurant! We went there Sunday night, it was very very busy. Great atmosphere and ambience, food was lovely, fresh pasta and woodfired pizza yummy and a great friendly service, seemed they enjoy working under pressure with lots of customers dining. Finished off with homemade tiramisu and chocolate soufflè to die for! we will definitely be going back
I love this place because it is the quickest way of traveling to Lake Como in Italy. Now the thing about eating in Italy, is it not fast food, it is a night out in which you enjoy good food and company over a delightful evening. You take you time, so if you are in a rush either let them know or choose another destination. I have been going for over two years and have never had a bad night with the exception of eating too much. Sometimes the service could do with improvement but I don't think that is anything new in Perth. They are also a place that you can bring kids and they are made to feel welcome, which is a reflection that it is a family business.
The food that Lago Di Como does exceptionally well, is would you believe their Italian food (don’t order salad – that is just crazy)!!!;
Pasta; OMG the Lamb Ragu Ravioli or the Seafood Ravioli (not always available) is amazing. I have literally had the same dinner for weeks. Sometimes I mix it up with the pesto or basil and burnt butter gnocchi.... hrmmm now I am hungry.
Pizza; One of the best in Perth, the dough is made in-house (as is the bread) and is to die for and to be honest it is hard to share. They will also make to order and they don’t mind you asking.
They will also do a special order if the ingredients are available. Their menu is seasonal so do expect to find pesto in winter. Oh and their chili muscle are tasty. And when I have the Vongole I think that I am in Venice, just sensational!
So my honest recommendation is order the Italian dishes, if you are in a hurry let them know. If you go often you become family and feel like you are stepping into you own little Italian getaway.
Enjoy!
Fantastic service, great atmosphere outside on summer nights, best garlic bread and veal scallopine. Alberto the young manager is doing a great job. Will be back very soon so try the home-made pasta.
Marvellous little authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Como. There were 4 of us on a quiet Monday night and the owners were more than welcoming.
As far as food goes, I ordered an off the menu asparagus and ricotta gnocchi and it was quite delightful. Subtle yet substantial flavours presented through light pillows of potato pasta, topped with Parmesan... Perfect.
Cost? I wasn't really sure to be honest. After 4 mains and coffee, we equally split the bill approximately equating to $30 per head.
In all, many recommendations to this lovely little place.
We went on a Wednesday night without booking because we didn't expect to find so busy. Anyway the staff was friendly and we had a lovely service. The venue it's clean and with a nice atmosphere. We found the menu really rich, moreover the manager took some time to explained us all the specials. For start We had an amazing wood fire pizza to share and a caprese salad. As a main we decide to taste their home made lamb ravioli and was something unbelievable! Delicious! My husband opt for the fish ( Blu groper ) So nice and fresh! Even if we were to full we finished that fantastic night with a portion of tiramisu and a nice glass of Limoncello! They are fully licence and they have a good selection of Italian and locals wines. For sure we will come back and we 100% recommend this lovely Italian restaurant!
Do yourself a favour order lamb ravioli, REALLY good. The staff are lovely and interactive, you could swear you were in Tuscany. Can't wait to return
Went there Sunday night. Friendly staff and great food. The tiramisu was delicious, definitely we will come back soon. I had Amatriciana rigatoni and my wife a chicken parmigiana. the portions where generous. Not dissaponted at all.
What a wonderful busy little restaurant, during my recent visit to Perth visiting this restaurant once was just not enough.... Do yourself a flavor and try one of the Wood fired pizza or beautiful Pasta's. Enjoy the friendly staff with Alberto your host going table to table making sure everyone is happy. Great wines, great food fabulous host
Great Italian restaurant with beautiful food. I very much enjoyed my time at Lago Di Como as the place has a super relaxing and friendly atmosphere, the staff are very accommodating and I love that they have a wide range of really nice wines and beers! would also recommend trying the wood fired pizzas, they taste very authentic! All around good experience and amazing food :)
If you are looking for an original pizza, here is a place to try. Had a Margherita. Just shows why less is more: a base, tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil leaves. Prepared in a wood fired oven, bringing out that real texture and flavour. I will be back for more :-)
Amazing experience with real Italian cuisine! Very opening and welcoming atmosphere, not to mention the great wood fired pizza we had! My friends and I went there for a birthday party and we definitely felt like we were having dinner at home. The Italian chef doesn't just aim to reproduce the Italian taste here in Perth but he also challenges himself constantly with always new and incredible presentation. All the main courses were yummy and tasty, so were the entrees and the desserts ( you must try the Chef's Delight, a real homemade gelato -ice cream- I would define as orgasmic, as they say chocolate is better than an orgasm). The staff is very welcoming, friendly and just make you feel like home, from the moment you step in.
Absolutely a must-give it a go restaurant!!!!!

I went to this nice place last night for a lovely dinner with all the family! I defiantly suggest this place for anybody who want taste real Italian food! The new owner has restored the place and give it an high quality
The service was perfect and the staff is really friendly. You can fell all the Italian kindness.
We ate eggplant parmigiana for started and was fresh and delicious! All the food are special hand made by the Italian chef ! even the lasagna and the pizzas was really good! We didn't have to wait so much and if there was it's worth it!
Authentic Italian Restaurant!. Went to Lago last night with some friends after being recommended. I had never seen a restaurant this busy on a Sunday night. We didn't have booking so we waited 10-15 minutes to get our table. The atmosphere since we walked in was amazing, father and son running the place, opened kitchen and pizza place that make you want to try everything. We shared a Margherita pizza as an entree and it was the best pizza we have ever had in our life, for mains we had ravioli, gnocchi and lasagna all housemade made pasta to die for!!! For desert chocolate soufflè which was "the icing on the cake" ...Lago di Como is definitely the best and most authentic Italian restaurant of the moment, with the feeling of Italy and very charming by the owners at front of house, followed by simple and delicious dishes. 10 out of 10. Grazie for the great night we had and well done!
AMAZING. Fantastic food and service, will be back
LISTEN, it is a must; you must go here.
Friendly staff, owner Albeirto & Grianni or something like arr SUPER,.
Delicious Italian, smashing tasting food, DIE FOR IT..
The place looks so clean and tidy , i think they have had a renovation as well.
Great Food & Service. We recently found this little treasure of a restaurant purely by chance & we are so glad we did! The food is fresh & authentic, the best Italian I've had since visiting Italy. The staff & service brilliant, Alberto is the perfect host. Staff are very attentive even when fully booked. Will be dining here weekly till we've worked our way through the entire menu & then start all over again! Love it!!
Authenticity was on par here. Lovely staff, rustic interior and beautiful food to top it off! Difficult to fault.

Value and Quality. I will start by saying that I am a fussy eater so when I was recommended to eat at this restaurant I was sceptical. However, I was blown away by the authentic Italian feel to this place that starts when you walk in the door.
The woodfired pizzas are exceptional with quality bases that you could just eat on their own and toppings that are simple but delicious. Just how a pizza should be!I I returned for another meal and tried out their lamb main meal which was one of the best I have had in Perth.
The coffee is great too. Silvana I think and made to perfection! Have a tiramisu too if you can fit it in.
Love this place now for not only the quality of the food but the value. It's old fashioned Italian hospitality with plenty on the plate. It can get noisy but that's the noise of success when people are enjoying themselves. There's plenty of restaurants out there where it's whisper quiet but that's because noone is dining there. I think this place is going to be busy for a long while yet.
Fantastic meal and service!
New menu is fantastic, food was delicious i love the gnocchi it is home made and so flavoursom! I will definitely return
Delicious Italian food in a wonderful atmosphere. Grazie to all the wonderful staff at Lago di Como! My family and I went for dinner a few nights ago and all felt like we were welcomed into the home of a close knit Italian family. We had lovely conversations with the owner and really enjoyed watching the team work together. We started with the bruschetta and then each had a different pasta (spaghetti, lasagna, and gnocchi) for our main courses...all very tasty and authentic Italian food. We finished off with a dessert recommended by the owner...pastry and hazelnut and chocolate deliciousness, mmmmm!
All in all, a wonderful night and I'll definitely be stopping in for dinner the next time I am in Perth!
