We had a great meal Largo Di Como last night. The veal prosciutto saltimbocca was perfect for a wintery night and the staff were all very warm and friendly...almost like you were having a meal at a friend's house. Happy to recommend this lovely, relaxed restaurant if you are looking for delicious Italian food in a warm environment with passionate and friend staff. What a little gem - thanks for dinner!
Amazingly friendly staff, we rocked up just as they were closing and while they were about to have leaving drinks for one of their staff, and they still went above and beyond to accomodate us. Incredible traditional italian pizza by far the best i've had anywhere in Australia.
Delicious food and fabulous service! I had food envy and should have orders the gnocchi! Thank you ☺️ pizza and arancini was delicious ......
Came tonight for an anniversary dinner. Service was very friendly and prompt.
Our mains (pan friend gnocchi, pizza and lamb cutlets) were outstanding. Our desserts; Nutella dreams and espresso crumble cheesecake, were some of the best we've ever had- absolutely delicious!!! Thank you so much for a great night.

Found this place through the entertainment book and it is my new go to pizza place. I've been here 3 times this year already. Pizzas are simple, but the combination of high quality ingredients, wood fire and skill makes it perfect!
Staff are attentive and the owner seems to always be there and very friendly.
Portions are typical for italian places, smallish and you'll need to have an antipasto and a main, so we normally share pizza and mains.
Recommended:
Sfiziosa
Lago di Como (the gorgonzola is very sparse, which my wife who doesn't normally like blue cheese prefers, but if you love blue cheese add more gorgonzola)
Gnocchi something (the only gnocchi)
Nutella dreams for the chocolate lover in you
I was a bit apprehensive about coming here because all the recent reviews have scored very poorly but overall I enjoyed my dining experience. The staff are all so lovely and the food is pretty damn good.
We started off with the deep fried pizza balls which should just be called "amazeballz" on the menu. Balls of crunchy fluffy dough tossed in garlic oil and herbs. Yum! For mains I had the lamb ravioli with mushroom sauce. The portion was decent. I mopped all the sauce up with the "amaze balls."
The "Nutella dreams" dessert of Nutella filled doughnuts with ice cream was also delish!
A couple of let downs were the chips which came out pale and soggy. The chocolate lava cake was over cooked and did not have an oozey middle but it wasn't dry and was still tasty. The dessert menu was also very chocolatey - choc cheesecake, choc lava cake, Nutella dreams, and Nutella calzone so a bit more variety would be good.
The staff were super friendly and the service was great! The food was absolutely delicious and did not take long at all. Will definitely be returning to Lago Di Como!
Really impressed with Lago Di Como- new owner and wow what a difference! I loved the mussels- and the fried pizza balls- "amazeballs" as my daughter said. Hubby had the lasagna and loved it, the Ragu gnocchi was also amazing. But the crowning glory is definitely the Nutella dream - which is basically fresh doughnuts filled with hot Nutella. We will definitely be back!!
New owners? Definitely new attitude. Delightful. They cook delicious food and served professionally with a smile.
Good value and enough variety of food and drinks to keep us happy.
The Eggplant Parmigiana is a star!
A nice Italian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is good. The service time was reasonable. My husband and I had three courses with a drink each and coffee. The cost was reasonable at $111.00 for both of us. I can recommend the Eggplant Parmigiana. This is a family restaurant and a little noisey. Will go back again.
Lago di Como was an Italian food restaurant located nearby Grand Cinemas Cygnet. It has been around for quite some time but we never actually dined there until Alberto invited us there. There were a lot of mix reviews on the internet which I read before I visited the place. Alberto informed me that the restaurant is now under a new management.
Took our chances, not having been to this restaurant for about 2 years, but now under new management, new décor, new food and exceptionally friendly and attentive Italian waitstaff - this is a neighbourhood shining gem!!
The food was delicious: its presentation, portions, flavours and prices were really pleasing. We had pizza, squid tasting board and garden salad. All were beautifully served, tasting as wonderful as they looked. Unfortuantely we couldn't fit in any desserts, but I believe they are house made and im looking forward to trying the tiramisu next time! This is a family run business - the care and warmth shows. From the moment we walked in we were attended to with smiles, explanations and friendly conversation. Just the perfect balance of everything at Lago Di Como. Bellisimo!!
