The staff were so friendly, and the food was amazing!!! There was not one part of our meal that wasn’t delicious! We will definitely be back next holidays!!
This is a great little restaurant, with all my favorite Indian dishes and more. The decor is pleasant and I found myself tapping along with more than one piece of music. My partner and I shared a yummy onion bhaji starter, which could easily have fed more than two. This was followed with lamb jalfrezi, chicken tikka masala and naan bread, again all delicious. We were pleased to be offered a choice of how spicy the two main dishes would be: mild, medium or hot. All in all, a great meal. The only slight negative was that it was a cold night and a constantly open door left the back of the restaurant quite cold. However, that was a minor concern and the arrival of the main dishes warmed us up.
Delicious food! I love Venky's butter chicken - thick, rich, creamy, subtly sweet and just enough spices. The best! Lamb korma is also great here. Deliveries always arrive piping hot, and dining-in means being treated superbly by the friendly staff. Staff even remember my name and face somehow! Thank you - highly recommend to others and will be coming here for a long time x
Food here was lovely. Ordered for delivery, received the food in a standard delivery timeframe. The beef vindaloo and lamb korma were both delicious along with the fragrant basmati rice. Considering they offer so many different types of rice and naan, it would be nice if they offered a regular white jasmine or basmati rice. This place is one of my locals and may well become one of my favourites. Ordered the goat at first but was promptly called to inform me that there was no goat available. I had it replaced by a dish of my choice with no fuss. There is really nothing bad to say about this place, in my limited experience. Give it a try if you are ever near by.
Really good Indian take-away. It's like home-made food. We will definitely will be going back. We ordered samosas, chicken tikka, sheesh kebab, butter Chicken, palak paneer, beef saag, dal Tarkha and naan. All was good 😀
My first time trying Indian food and I'm happy I tried it here first. Amazing food, very friendly service.
8/10 - tasty home-made Indian food. Venkys is not a place where you walk past and wants to walk in, but you should because you will be surprised! I think it is a family run restaurant, hence the food is home-made and not like those westernised fancy Indian restaurants. I highly recommend the naan with sultanas and coconut. The wait staff was very friendly. I look forward to coming back here soon!
This was a nice place to eat. It wasn't busy the night I went with my boyfriend. The gentleman I worked with was very friendly, around for a chat , and helped me when I wanted something vegan. What I ordered was pretty good, my boyfriend ordered the butter chicken which he liked . Pretty good place to eat and it wasn't that expensive.
Best Indian!!!. Brilliant flavours in the curries, super friendly personal service.... Will be back, again and again!!
SIMPLY THE BEST!!. It was a wonderful experience having food at Venkys with my mates. It made me realize that I have never ever had authentic Indian food ever since I came to Australia. 10 on 10 for the service as well.Hats off to Venkys team and the chef!! . I would strongly recomend to those who want to taste the best quality, fresh authentic Indian food..
