Was without doubt the best burger I've had in ages. The staff where all friendly and the service was quick considering it was full. Would definitely recommend heading there
Great breakfast, lovely staff and Wifi that actually works!
An early morning at Coogee beach (to catch the sunrise nonetheless) and a breezy swim in the cool salt water had our appetites roaring so we went searching for an open coffee with delicious food. We stumbled across Courtyard at Coogee, a short walk from the main beach, and there were plenty of people seated around enjoying their morning coffees.
This place is sooo good. It's dog friendly, comfy and he coffee is great. Even better the wait staff are all really lovely. I've often brought my laptop here and worked and always been made feel very welcome. Brekkie is great of course, try the breakfast bruschetta or quesadilla for something different and tasty.
Came across this lovely cafe whilst searching for a coffee spot on a saturday arvo. Staffs were very friendly, the vibe and environment are both great. We didn't try any food out, but there were 10 of us and all of us ordered ourselves a drink, everyone complimented them. I had a mocha myself and i loved it. The drinks also come with a cute little freckle on the side!

Nothing really special with this place, good to have a quick lunch and they offer all types of plates for different tastes. The salad I chose was good and fresh, the prices and attention very good too.
Situated 50m from the beach the cafe is in a near perfect location. An open air roof and plenty of flora make sitting in a pleasure, feeling like you're on holiday. With the best coffee, hands down, in coogee and an aussie menu for a hungry tummy I'd highly recommend this place.

Right next to Coogee beach, Courtyard is located in an extremely convenient place for lunch. The cafe itself looks really cool, with heaps of natural light and colourful murals on the wall. The service is impeccable and very fast. However, the food isn't as amazing as you would hope considering how beautiful it looks. The acai bowl was a bit too watery for my liking and probably my least favourite acai bowl so far, but it wasn't by any means bad. The big breakfast plate with scrambled eggs was alright but not something I'd keep eating when full. Would I come here again? Probably not, but it was a nice place.

The best breakfast in Coogee, hands down! My friend and I enjoyed the haloumi stack, acai bowl and coffees. The haloumi stack was so flavoursome from the pesto and eggs cooked perfectly on sourdough so much so I was left licking the plate! My friend really enjoyed the acai bowl; complementing the staff on the beautiful presentation and added flavour and texture from the berries, dried coconut, nuts and seeds. Being a bit of a coffee snob I do get weary ordering coffee from new places but was very pleased! Overall, great experience which was topped off but the friendly, attentive staff and vibrant atmosphere in the sunny courtyard. Will be back again in the summertime for sure.
The Courtyard Cafè is down by Coogee beach across the road from the Coogee Bay hotel. They have a coffee counter at the front on Coogee bay rd, and a number of tables around it in the courtyard. We ordered at the counter, the guys working here were pretty friendly. Our coffee arrived pretty quick, The coffee was girdlers grind, a brand run by ex rugby league player Ryan Girdler. The coffee was actually pretty nice.
I was a bit perplexed that I did not receive a spoon with my acai bowl. I found one of the waitesses who then provided me with a spoon. Apart from not receiving the spoon, the acai bowl was nice. It was presented nicely and was a decent portion served with fresh fruit including banana, strawberry and blueberries. The acai bowl was also topped with a trail mix of nuts, seed, desicated coconut, raisins and goji berries. A good place to people watch, especially on a wrm day.
