I love travelling to little country towns. As I always find a hidden treasure.
The Coolah Bakery did not disappoint.
The place was immaculate and had a very homely feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We ordered pies (choosing from the selection on offer was very hard) and they were scrumptious. The right amount of perfect pastry surrounding fresh, plentiful ingredients made with love. I judge a good pie by the ratio of filling to pastry and this was done expertly. The coffee we ordered was also to a very high standard.
I highly recommend this little bakery. We all need to visit our little country towns and help keep them in business. And when everything is so well done it is not hard to do so.
Thank you for your hospitality, wonderful food, coffee and great value for money.
Coming into small towns, I worry about the quality of the coffee on offer. No such issue here! Delicious coffee, as good as any capital city Café, served with cheeky repartee from the hard working, cheerful ladies!
This is a "must stop" on the Black Stump route! Loved it!
Tucked away on the main street of Coolah is this wonderful little Bakery.
They serve delicious hot pastries, pies and sausage rolls, as well as sandwiches and coffee (made with Vittoria beans). The coffee, in particular, was really good, and the service was friendly and quick.
Plenty of street parking outside the Bakery. Usually there are plenty of tables and seats, but COVID-19 restrictions have meant that they only have a couple of tables and seats inside.
