We had dinner here tonight, one of the best Italian Restaurant meals we have eaten. Great music performed live. Magic cocktails. Booked in again.
Great spot for a meal with friends and family. The food is delicious and good portion sizes. The staff are great. (even though they were understaffed the night we were there)
Set in a nicely decorated space that make you feel like you are home. The drinks are good, wine list is limited but you will find something to go with that amazing pasta dish you just ordered!
Update : Was good enough to go back again - still a great experience staff where even better (this time they were expecting more diners for Cooly Rocks but the "not so nice" winter weather seems to keep people away). The appetizer platter is an excellent way to start your dining experience.
I was recently in Coolangatta and went to Baskk as the excellent decor caught my attention and was met by Caz who welcomed me with a huge smile and showed me to my table.
The place was busy and staff very good.
Being an former barman I asked if I could make my own cocktail that was not on the menu. This request was met without any issue.
The menu provided a varied selection and a received my meal rather quickly.
The quality of the meal was excellent.

Caz from Baskk was so amazing and supportive of the planning and organisation of our wedding reception! I loved her professional and easy going nature. The staff on the night were fantastic, considering our booking was slightly unique with many guests standing, they managed amazingly! All of our guests said the food, drinks and cocktails were delicious! The interior of the restaurant is so beautiful and makes for gorgeous photos too. Caz, thank you so much for making the night and experience for us and our guests so special! It's a night Trent and I will cherish forever 🙏🌙❤
Second time visiting Baskk and won't be our last. Great atmosphere, and a strong attentive team who work well together and take the time to make connections with their customers, despite a loud and obnoxious group of women who were being very rude to staff - I think we were all relieved when they finally left! Food was yum, fantastic again (we had the steak, daughter the pizza which she loved and the base was just right). Cocktails made for a fun night, we went with the element of surprise and allowed the bar staff to make us our drinks, which did not disappoint. Thanks team, can't wait to be back again!
Best Italian food I've had nearly ever. (Definitely the best in Coolangatta). Amazing tastes and prices are reasonable, especially for such amazing food.
