Review Pizza Hut Kirra Restaurant - Coolangatta

This has been our family favorite stop over for many years. It's the one place we always return to the and it's great to see that after all these years, it didn't disappoint. Every slice of pizza as good as the rest. The chocolate mousse was as delicious as ever.

Soon to be lost piece of my childhood. One of the only remaining dine-in Pizza Hut restaurants to my knowledge. Four of us descended on this place in a nostalgic haze on a random Thursday evening. At $19.95 a head for an all-you-can-eat pasta, salad, pizza and dessert bar, it's probably pretty good value. But only if you are hungry 😉. And have a good tolerance for Pizza Hut fare. To be honest we may have lost ours, but it was fun trying! Lol! The venue is slates to close in June (6 weeks) so one to hurry to if you want to relive a little bit of childhood reminiscing. Salad bar was a bit eh. One type of pasta, two sauces (a delicious bolognese and an okish carbonara), no lasagne 🙁. Garlic bread when fresh was delicious, but they're cooking as needed, so a bit crispy if it has been sitting. The apple crumble pizza was everything I remembered and more. Fantastic. Tips: To get the benefit of the spectacular views, a day time trip is a must have. At night, the restaurant has almost no connection with the amazing location.

Great childhood memories and now to bring my own child down before the place was closed by the council for something potentially more upmarket

It’s great that this restaurant is still running. But honestly if a pizza sits there longer than 2 hours surely it’s got to go! Some of the pizzas the kids ate looked that dry and stale. I had to ask them to make fresh ones which they were more than happy to do but it shouldn’t have to be asked for. The price is very reasonable. It could do with a really good clean over. I know it’s not a five star restaurant but cleanliness is everything .

The all you can eat for $9.95 is a great deal, you can't beat it. Staff friendly and food great. Missed a star as chips weren't cooked too well and cold. But on most occasions food is great and always stocked with hot pizza. Ice cream is yummy. I have been there on many occasions and have taken family also and they have enjoyed it. Keep up the good work.

Food was okay, pizzas were not filled up enough as they were always empty when I wanted to get some more, spent about an hour in there and only got one slice which was hard and over cooked. The salad bar and deserts were pretty good, probably better than the pizza which tells you a lot considering its a pizza buffet.

Amazing place, all you can eat. My granddaughter insists we go there every time I visit her. The staff are wonderful especially when she dropped her plate with the last piece of her favorite piece of meat lovers pizza. The staff calmed her down and checked to make sure another one was on its way. Always a happy place.
