Out for a mid week lunch after some running around and stopped in. Both my mum and I had the Rottnest Scallops with Pork Belly, absolutely beautiful well sized dish. Scallops just melted in the mouth, as did the pork belly.
Eager to go back again to try more of the menu .
The service was amazing and the food was excellent the kids pasta was absolutely divine. It was very filling and so very tasty, the pasta was the best pasta that I have ever eaten. The waiters were amazing, Martin was the best waiter that I’ve ever had in my life so fantastic, funny, interactive, humorous and sociable. I hope you enjoy this review.
Loved my solo dinner date here after a stroll along the beach at sunset. Had the crab/vongole linguine (house made linguine), the hit of chilli was just perfect and I love vongole. Service was just right and was a very nice atmosphere. Pretty dark inside but it suited me. Then I had the Grand Marnier creme caramel - lovely. Looking forward to going back.
I had the day off to enjoy the sculptures and decided to come here for lunch. It was a busy Friday, but they still managed to give me a beach view table. Service was attentive and friendly, and the Italian waiter gave good recommendations on the menu and wine. I went with the zucchini flower fritters, organic feta, and rocket salad, and the Skull Island flaming Tiger prawns with grappa truffle oil, and a couple of glasses of the Great Southern Riesling. The flowers were crispy and the cheese gave the dish a good punch of flavour. There was also a nice light aioli with the dish. The star of the lunch was the flambé prawns which came to the table flaming. Nice theatre. And my first bite, amazing – fresh, soft, buttery, silky smooth and so sweet. I don’t think I have had prawns this good; highly recommend, and thank you for the waiter for pointing these out to me. I had the elderberry panacotto for dessert which was also good. Overall, a pleasant, relaxed lunch with excellent service and food. Will come back.
Great view, great atmosphere and great food!
Pricing was reasonable for the quality of seafood you get. Fresh and tasty with a variety of oysters to choose from
Excellent food absolutely delicious staff were excellent highly recommend the morten bay bugs the serving was huge the flavours were mouth watering
Yeah it was good.. Tasty seafood, good options. Great service. A little pricey but that's Cott for you.. Great way to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset over the ocean.
A nice seafood restaurant in a hotel by the coast/beach. The decor is kind of fisherman wharf look. The kitchen is semi open. Nice service. Good wine list offering the Alfred Gratien Champagne by the glass at $14. I had the Italian red and who said seafood cannot go with red wine !? Overall the seafood is fresh and well cooked. Cuttlefish, Swordfish and the fish/seafood soup. However, I was impressed by the dessert: baked chocolate ! Thought it was warm but not. It got three basic element with some side additions. It cannot be described in words how the combination they are working. The texture all together is amazing. The flavour is quite special and I felt kind of the salty egg yolk and it is very nice ! Would love to try this dessert again. The only comment is the restaurant washroom is surprisingly small, first time ever I visited.
Popped in for a quick meal with friends. Service was slow but friendly. The set up is good - casual, can see how the view will pay dividends in summer. The wine list was reasonably priced. All the food looked, smelt and tasted really nice; well priced too. Give it a go just don't expect silver service and you won't be disappointed.
What a delightful place! Took friends to Cottesloe for a bit of sightseeing, given that most of the places are closed on Monday. We figured it's safe to go into the Cottesloe Beach Hotel. One thing led to another, we found ourselves sitting at Cott & Co.
Four of us chose the $55 for two lunch special
Entrees: sardine on bruschetta, yum yum!
Mains: Barra was beautifully done, crispy fish skin! Loved the veggies that came with it too. Risotto was amazing too.
Dessert: I had the pannacotta and it was full of flavours.
Would have spent more time there if we didn't have to drop our friends off at the airport for their flight back to Melbs.
Strongly recommended!
