I enjoyed every mouthful of the journey from Entree to desert.
We had the scallops and kangaroo for entree, Pasta and Lamb for main and the chocolate for desert. Compliments to the Chef and the wait staff on such an enjoyable memorable birthday. Thank you.
Our second time at the Vasse Felix restaurant and it was as amazing as we remembered.
That kangaroo entree!! And I’m not sure which was the top dish between the Toothfish and the Beef. Both outstanding.
What I do know is that we will return.

The tasting menu was excellent. The toothfish stood out - the texture was amazing. The beef with caviar and oyster emulsion was good too.
I had been looking forward to dining here for the past few months and the food did not disappoint.
Each course was unique and the whole tasting menu had a wonderful blend of flavours and textures and a great balance on the palate.
The mussels, eel, flatbread was absolute umami insanity and really set the scene for the meal, it was paired beautifully with a creamy blanc de blancs. The fermented apple sheets with poppy and scallop was like indulging in sea-side apple cider, just stunning!
My only gripe would be the absence of any alcoholic beverages other than wine and the non-alcoholic options were sparse. I get it, we're in a winery, but fair-play, not everyone drinks wine. I would love to see an alcohol-free beverage pairing option alongside the wine pairings.
Compliments to the chef's for the best rendition of Patagonian toothfish I've ever had. It was a masterful dish.
I highly recommend a visit here and I will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Experienced and friendly staff. Lovely drops of wine. Great tasting variety. Spent a little bit but definitely worthwhile. Will be enjoying great wine this Christmas and will be laying some down for the future.
Extraordinary. Stunning food. Chef is a savant. When the vego dishes make you salivate, imagine the carne! Service impeccable in a tough time for staff, and the wines are better than I remember. The Idees Fixee Blanc de Blanc is a fabulous addition. Can’t wait to be able to afford to return.
