Had some takeaway Thai tonight and it was pretty good. Not expensive at all and the food was pretty tasty. The spicy chicken is spicy but not too over the top. Prices are reasonable. Portion sizes good. Staff were great and very helpful even though they were busy.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/Stroller accessible. Good parking but do watch the time limits as the parking inspectors are vigilant. Lots of other places to eat nearby but worth trying this one.
Very friendly service and a nice little Thai restaurant. We were a group of 3 and shared a couple dishes along with an entree.
The chicken satay was very tasty and had very good texture, the curries also nice.
All in all a nice little place to go and recommend.
Nice professional and fast service. The Green Curry had exactly the right amount of everything.
The quantities were perfect. And specially the little girl who welcomed us.
Yummy! We had dinner here tonight and although some what laid back with our drinks just put on the table without glasses or pouring them for us the food was good. My husband and I throughly enjoyed the food, total amount was $59.90 which included a can of coke and a bottle of lemon lime and bitters....btw if you order lemon lime and bitters, they don’t make it themselves, it comes in a bottle.
Food was yummy.. Dont expect a fancy restaurant as it’s a small family run business. I got takeaway and it was prepared promptly. Definitely not cheap, but tasted real good and spicy.

Amazing food, probably the best Thai food I've had in a long time. Highly recommend the Duck curry and the Thai chili Prawn.
A must visit if you are ever in Philip Island!
Rang for takeaway and they ring you when it's ready to come and get it - service! Had phad Thai, satay skewers, green curry and roti. Very delicious and for a change the curry was hot as they said it would be. Very impressed.
Despite some of the negative reviews we thought the restaurant served pretty authentic Thai food and many customers opted for take aways. The lady owner is not exactly friendly but she tries and means well. Tom kha soup and Thai Fried rice was simply satisfying for dinner on a cold night on the island .
The hostess was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. She interacted with people as if she was serving food in her own home. So much so walking past the following day she waved a hello. Decor was adequate with a range of indoor and outdoor seating. Some menu items actually clearly stated two versions of the same dish westernized and traditional. It took me some time to order as I found the menu had options and combinations I hadn't seen or tried before at other Thai places. Certainly not the same old menu as everywhere else. Coconut rice with shredded coconut. A non commercial sweet chili sauce ! The Laksa was not overly spiced, so good for the average Joe . Of course you could always add some Sriracha chilli sauce to bring it up. Overall good food , lay back and enjoy.
All tips go to a charity to fund a school. Most staff were in uniform yet the hostess was in leggings and sneakers.
Like I said earlier she was at home there and treated people as if you were in her home.
An unexpected twist to the service.
I came in with high expectations based on previous reviews, but Thai on the Island FAR surpassed these!! Quite possibly the best Thai I've eaten in Australia. Authentic, wholesome, plentiful, fresh, delicious... every meal hit the target. We will most certainly be back anytime we visit the Island. Thankyou for a truly enjoyable meal.
This place is amazing. So much flavour in the food. Looks like we have our go to restaurant in PI
Super delicious but extremely spicy! 🥵 As the owner in the restaurant called it, “The Real Deal” 😆🇹🇭 No compromise on heat level. The green curry, som tum, fried rice with prawns and pineapple, Thai mango ice cream and banana dumpling with coconut ice cream were fantastic. Hits every single taste bud. Worth every sweat and fiery mouth feeling. The mango and coconut ice creams were so delicious and refreshing. First time trying coconut ice cream and it’s now one of my favourites.
Was looking forward to try the mango and sticky rice dessert but was not in season. Simple and basic restaurant set up. We enjoyed the food. Will definitely come back again when we do visit Philip Island. Cautious to those who can’t tolerate spicy 🌶 heat.
We always love our visits to Sonee's restaurant. Her food is THE BEST in Australia. She sources chillies from a specific region of Thailand and cooks to perfection. If you want it hotter or milder you just ask .. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Good clean food. Very tasty. Good service. Had tofu curry and satay beef. Both very nice meals. Would return. Would have liked a chilli sauce like saracha on the side instead of raw chopped chillies as these were way to hot.
