Review Furphy’s Brasserie - Cowra

Absolutely beautiful! Even on winter, it was still colourful. Such well maintained grounds, and incredible plants. Love how there is a list of plants and numbers on the plants to tell you what they are. The view is incredible and the artefact exhibit is fantastic. Allow a couple of hours to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. Don't miss it if you are in Cowra!

We made the decision to detour via Cowra to specifically see this garden. We were not disappointed. This garden is stunning. It is set over quite a few acres and is beautifully set out and manicured. Very reasonable entry fee. It is also worthwhile to visit the site of the prison camp and the war cemetery to complete the story behind the garden.

I wish I had visited the gardens a lot sooner instead of just driving through Cowra. It is a healthy walk around the grounds which are immaculate, and there are golf carts for hire for those who need them. The staff are friendly, the walking paths don't have cracks or unevenness, the elevation change gives fantastic views, and the river, lake and waterfalls are tranquil. Take a picnic and relax on the ample grassed areas. The grounds are quite open, so be careful on really hot days as you'll be in the sun a bit.

There just aren't enough stars. The gardens are exceptionally well kept and there are hidden vistas around most corners. Wonderful exhibitions, gift shop and manicured lawns and shrubs. The gardens are just beautiful. Unfortunately we left the cafe until after we had seen the gardens. It was supposedly closed for a function but not all the inside tables, or any of the outside tables, were set up. Even so, no room for two people who just wanted a cuppa and a treat. Maybe next time some signs telling other patrons that the cafe will be closed might be insightful. The cafe non-experience didn't detract from the gardens. One piece of advice. Two bags of duck/fish food won't be enough!

Truly unbelievable! We spent hours here walking around and taking in all of the intricate details. I think I could have spent several more and still not seen my fill. It was beautiful in Summer, I’d love to see it in Spring. It’s dog-friendly and has a reasonably priced admission fee. An absolute must visit.

Beautiful gardens. Perfectly maintained. Friendly helpful staff. We needed a golf buggy. Hire is one hour. Cafe was great. Inside or outside dining. Highly recommend a visit.

Oh what a lovely garden. Well maintained, each tree and plant in this garden is superbly managed and maintained. Beautiful small lakes, small creeks & waterfalls. Lush green area, you will fall in love the moment u enter into it. Must visit place near Cowra, NSW.

This is well-maintained garden with stunning view. But there’s admission prices for it spent almost 1-2hours walking and enjoyed the spectacular view with fresh air. I almost felt like i was at japan. Theres a small museum, bonsai shows, tea house, cafe for dining, lake with fish koi area, cottage replica and educational centre. Staff was friendly
