Since the prior Manager Geoff has returned to the venue and brought back his brilliant chef the venue has changed so much for the better.
I take all my friends there to eat now as the food is magnificent and I can't rave to people enough about the Seafood Platter and basically EVERYTHING on the menu. Kudos to that man in the kitchen!
The staff are happier, the shows are more entertaining to the general public and the service is great.
It's always a pleasure to be there.

Entertainment was great and the food to die for - I had the lamb shanks and sticky date pudding. Special thanks to Rob and the head chef for organizing a special vegan meal for my daughter.

We finally made there ourselves for lunch during a weekday. We were warmly welcomed and seated near the play area. We were advised of their promotions and to order at the bar when ready. As I ordered a kid’s meal, we were given a kid’s activity pack; which contained a great activity book, pencils and lollies. The meal also included a drink and ice cream. I ordered the roast of the day, which was pork.
While we waited, the kids enjoyed the play area. Food arrived soon after ordering and the quality of the food was high. We all enjoyed our meals, despite it being difficult keeping the kids at the table for the meals. The play area had age appropriate areas for both of my kids and the most difficult part of our visit was getting the kids to leave.
Definitely recommend this bistro. We are usually frequent cafe visitors, so we were impressed with how great they were.
Went with a group of friends with kids for lunch. The new playground is all inside and a good size. The menu is extensive and all of the meals were fresh and tasty. The garlic prawns were cooked very nicely and not overdone, however the rice was a bit overcooked. The Nasi Goreng had a good range of things in it but the serving size was a bit small. The parmas looked good and the smaller options chicken wrap was quite large with a lot of fries. It was good to see the local beers from St Andrews and Jetty Road and $6 pints was a bargain. The only real downside to this place was that it seemed really noisy. The restaurant was half full but there was lot of background noise. I can imagine at a busy time it would be almost impossible to hear each other. I would definitely return, especially if it was a more quiet time.
We had a really great meal, full of flavour, presented excellently and garnished well, great service.. give this place a go. Pricing was very reasonable and had a great kids area... Reno’s are happening also so will be even better when done..
Great service! The staff are always very friendly, and make the time to engage with their customers. The food has always been excellent and the facilities are immaculate! It's the perfect place to bring my grandad down for a quiet lunch or round up the whole family for a dinner.
