Absolutely killer fish and chips at Notaras Fish Markets in Cronulla!
When fish and chips are an Aussie staple, you can bet your sweet bippy that I've had a few in my time. Between grilled and battered fish, I will usually go with the slightly healthier option of grilled. On this particular occasion, I ordered grilled fish and chips with a lemon and herb rub. With a squeeze of lime and tartare sauce, perfectly cooked fish and a generous dousing of chicken salt on my chips, this dish was perfection.
My only confusion was why I was charged $14.01 for the dish when it was priced at $13.80. I am guessing it was a 1.5% surcharge for paying by card?

Sunday lunch. Warm weather and inviting place to sit. This easy place to have a quick lunch or sit back and enjoy the Cronulla. Has no ocean views and on the main road in but has the beach side feel
Food was fresh and tasty. It is a seafood takeaway shop with outside table serve
Service: it was busy but quick
Atmosphere: beach feel outside tables
Cost: high end take away but worth it
Food: good and fresh
We always have to wait because they are busy but the fish tastes nice. My friend got the paella and he said it was one of the better ones he has had. My other friends got hot chips and they were satisfied. Give it a try.
