Think i've visited Cumin 7 to 8 times over the past 2 years, loved the food each time! Have even travelled from George Street to Crows Nest, just cause wanted a high quality authentic Indian Cuisine. Less than a handful offer such high quality ingredients, with very good value. Good to visit as a couple or a big group (def book ahead for a large table). Even when the restaurant was super full, they still gave us the best service they can.
Fish & Prawn dishes are super tasty, as well as the Biryani, almost every curry, from mild to spicy (depends how hot you can handle, just ask the staff there for advice). All the naans are fresh outta the oven, aromatic breads?!
Raavi's Cumin does not disappoint. Good cosy decor. Very good wine selection, and they offer BYOB as well.
Great variety of Veg options for our friend who is strictly Veg. Chicken Tikka, Prawn Curry, and Paneer were super delicious! Staff were very friendly, service spot on. Def return again.
Rich taste of spices and nice aroma. Murg Peshawari is a must try with any Indian bread. I have given 4/5 since I feel the prices are a bit high compared to others.
Got takeaway so can’t comment on service. Very happy with the food! Had chicken patiala, dhal and a mixed vegetable dish. All 3 were good, as were the nana and rice but portion sizes were really small - therefore a bit overpriced.
Great flavour in dishes including the Dal makhani and spinach paneer.
Good for both dine in and take away.

Some beautiful food and great service. Portion sizes were perfect. A nice atmosphere with just the right crowd to have a nice date or friendly gathering. Will definitely be going back.
The best Indian meal we have had in all of Sydney. Murgh makhani and balti beef were easily the standouts - 5 star!!!. The service and atmosphere were authentic and relaxing. I can't wait to try the banquet!!
We have been to Cumin twice now, since recently moving to Crows Nest and both experiences have been fantastic. Friendly and welcoming service. Very polite and accommodating our every request in a timely manner. The food is sensational with all of our traditional favourites as well as some great chef's specialties which we like to try. I'm sure this will become a regular favourite to us. It's a popular spot. The restaurant is always busy but this doesn't affect their efficiency. It offers take away service as well.
Always excellent. They even do a reasonably hot vindaloo, which is a rarity.
