Review Cavalier Specialty Coffee - Crows Nest

WARNING: MILLENIAL PRICES!!!. I ordered ham and cheese croissant and a small coffee and paid $20.21. When I asked for the price of each item (because there are no prices advised on the display food) I was told there was a surcharge. Surcharge based on what?? As far as I am concerned, today is not a public holiday. Honestly it was my first time buying there and I feel completely ripped off. The food wasn't even great. Please write the prices of the pastries on the glass display or menu because otherwise it is just confusing and deceiving. And can someone explain to me why you need to surcharge customers without an explanation? Honestly, the prices don't align with the nature of the shop, it's a takeaway shop!.

An unexpected experience I have never had a more fresh and more delicious take away pastry and sandwich at any other cafe! Sandwiches are $14 and cheap for what you get. Coffee is perfect!

These guys by far have the best coffee in the north shore! big call I know! The lovely team are always so friendly too. They always have an amazing selection of fresh sandwiches and pastries. They used to make a killer salad too, I say bring back the chicken salad!! love to you all

Steep price, doesn't align with other cafe / coffee shops in the area. The coffee was good though I'll give them that.

My absolute favourite on the lower north shore. The quality of their ingredients is like nothing else I’ve experienced in Sydney. All in all their coffees, pastries and sandwiches are unbeatable for flavour, freshness and quality and worth every cent and some. To the review below, McDonalds is around the corner if you want a cheap breakfast.

Best coffee in Crows Nest! We have been frequenting Cavalier as our local for 4 years now. The coffee is always consistent and the sandwiches are delicious. Georgia, Sarah and Harry are so lovely and warm and make us feel like a part of the family. 10/10 recommend.

Very nice little place, very friendly service and I like that they offer 6oz and 8oz cups which is rare. The coffee has a nice flavour but the milk was too cool. 55ç is not a good temperature for me. I will ask for 65ç next time.

I can’t fault the service and coffee here, I’ve been a regular for the last 4 years I’d say - through lockdowns and all the service hasn’t changed the coffee is best in the area and now they have delicious pastries you can grab on your way out. Thank you Cav team!
