Loved the food , loved the ambience, great service with good hospitality and also when chef personally come and ask about our meal, the flavors and presentation was exceptional.
Highly highly recommend this place if you want Best Indian food of your life
Please give our thanks to the Manager(s) and others for the wonderful ambience and fabulous food. We had an amazing time. The atmosphere was so comfortable, the food including the desserts was absolutely spectacular. Our waitress was just wonderful. Looking forward to visit the restaurant very soon again. What a great place!
Just moved into the area and was looking for somewhere to eat, probably take away. Walked past the Last Train to Bombay. I was looking at their great menu when I was greated by a nice Indian guy who invited me in. I decided to dine in, something I dont do alot by myself and was treated to some great food and great service. Was the food hot enough I was asked not long into the meal and said I like my spice and they went away and made it even hotter for me. Of cource who doesnt love naan bread but loved their cheese and garlic naan, had to order some more to take away with my left overs I enjoyed for the next days lunch. Nice find in Crows Nest, will definitely be coming back here. They do take away so we will be ordering again for sure. Don't leave this place off your list if you like Indian!!
I would highly recommend this place because I loved the entree’s. Palak patta chat was really good. Also I quiet like the main course. Quantity was sufficient for two people. All in all I had a very nice experience with food and service.
Food - 4/5
Ambience - 3.5/5

Price 3.5/5
Amazing food & ambience!! Entrees are some thing I always look forward..overall great experience. Main courses also provide a great culinary experience.
I went late at night when they were about to close so I opted for a take away. I ordered Bhindi, daal tadka, chicken biryani and gazar ka halwa. Bhindi, daal and biryani were pity nice but gazar halwa had no taste of gazar in it. It's a nice place must try on a visit to Sydney...
Nice place! Went for dinner with friends and were seated by the window. Dug in straight into mains and must say that everything we ordered was good. What was refreshing was the Indian-ness of the taste; the spices and flavours were something you'd get in a mid range restaurant within India. Nice evening.
Excellent food. We have been coming to Last Train for many years and find it to be the best Indian food in the area. They also deliver, which we have found to be reliable.
Highly recommended.
Came here last week with my partner for a date night, the food and service was fantastic. I really enjoyed all the dishes we had ordered that night which included the Abloo Bonda, Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka and a curry dish too.
Our favorite dish was definitely the naan, so simple but so delicious. It was piping hot when it came to the table and went so well with the curry.
It was an enjoyable and pleasant evening. Would recommend!
Excellent service and food on a cold and rainy night. The kids enjoyed the dosa and sampled our dishes. The tastes were all different and complex and were not simply overwhelmed by heat. The Chicken Chettinad was my favourite with a really peppery bite.
Excellent service. Noisy sometimes. But it adds to the authenticity of Indian food. Lunchtime Thalis are the best & very filling. Will definitely visit again.
Probably the best Indian restaurant in Sydney. The naan is just perfect: light and fluffy with a crispy base. The curries are rich and full of flavour (my favourite is the Paneer Butter Masala). The service was great and best of all, if you have allergies they are very willing to accommodate even if that means cooking dishes from scratch. I'll definitely be coming back!
It was a good food experience in there...you can have different indian cuisines. Staff behavior was friendly too..was a bit conjugated but platting and service was good. Mainly the taste of Food was amazing like typical desi indian tadka 😁.. Please give it a try for If you haven't already. Cheers 🥂
If you are looking for good Indian food in this area I think this is the place to go.
Really nice quality Indian food. We went with the kids so the meal was relatively plain food (we ordered it that way) but it was delicious and what’s nice was that all the chicken was boneless and the butter chicken was excellent
We were on our road trip to Gold Coast and on the way its Sydney. After our overnight stay at Sydney. Next morning, we were on our way to Gold Coast where we decided to av lunch some place. Where I found this restaurant. I went with my wife as she was grumpy to see its empty might be we wont get good food. So hesitating, we order Pappri Chat, Samosa Chat, Masala Chai and Masala Dosa. The first food came out was papri chaat. The first bite made us feel amazing. It was crispy, fresh, so my wife grumpy face was smily face and the rest food was spectacular. Dosa was crispier, masala potato had enough ingredient to make it yummy. And the last...Chai...😊it was amazing.
And the whole credit goes to the guy named Saajan. He was along serving and cooking too. Kudos to him.
