Great authentic Italian restaurant Staff were nice and friendly and food was tasty. I would have liked the Lasagna portion a bit larger but all in all it was a good experience. Spaghetti bolognese and supreme Pizza were delicious. Both in door and outdoor sitting available.

RUDE That is the only word that comes to mind. We asked if we could be served and a waiter looked us up and down and walked away. He came back and said, “hate to say it but everyone is in a hurry” We got up and walked out. He was incredibly rude, disrespectful and did not need to say anything back to us. We also on arrival got knocked over by a waitress without her apologising. Never go here! There are better and cheaper places in crows nest to go

The service is very average and they don’t do split bills they did the last time but they didn’t do it this time they should just charge an extra fee and let people pay separately. And the owners were pretty rude about it. How do they know that people have enough money to cover someone else’s bill. They should have a sign outside saying no split bills.

I always get the linguine al gamberi. A favourite place for my father and I to catch up for dinner. Lovely staff. Also yummy. Lemon Sole is great too.

Lovely local restaurant. Great pizza and fresh pasta.

Pretty good pasta and it was reasonably priced. There was a huge variety of pastas and pizzas which I appreciate. You could get away with a small pasta dish if you aren't ravenous, I regretted getting the bigger one. The service was friendly. I'd probably go again but wouldn't get the same dish again.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Pasta was nice, however the pizza was quite average, wouldn’t recommend it if you’re after a traditional Italian meal. More like an Aussie style pizza that you’d get from the local pizza shop in the suburbs. Probably better just to grab a take away. Was reasonably priced so it didn’t break the bank but not the most delicious meal.

We know this place is quite popular in crows nest, and finally we had a chance to try with friends. <br/><br/>Attentive and casual service was good, food was good, so no fault at all but nothing remarkable. <br/><br/>Restaurants don’t need to be ‘wow’ all the time, but we thought it should be some reasons why this place is so popular... unfortunately we couldn’t find it.<br/><br/>It was not pricy but not cheap side either. The location, service and home style cooking... yeah just okay for what we paid.

Nice case of food poisoning if you like that sort of thing...My friend had reflux the next day followed by a simultaneous dose of vomiting and diarrhoea. Frankly, I wasn't surprised - the food had that dodgy edge to its taste. And the Greek salad - if that's what it was - was a disgrace. Having just been in Greece, and gotten used to simple food beautifully and lovingly prepared, this was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen...limp lettuce, a couple of stingy pieces of tomato and a tiny bit of crumbled fetta all served for our delectation in a very small bowl...we paid $13 for this travesty - it had about 50 cents worth of ingredients and a sort of sleazy sweet taste to try to cover up all its inadequacies. Never again Peter Pan - you've been in your fairyland too long.

Delicious Italian restaurant. Outstanding service and good prices. Excellent Italian restaurant, one of my favourites in Sydney. Spaghetti al Polpette and the pizza garlic bread are a must!

I had a creamy gnocchi dish, which was delicious but difficult to finish because is was so rich. The others had other pasta meals. The pasta was cooked very well.<br/><br/>The inside was very small by the window and quite cramped, but it was okay once we sat down. <br/><br/>Service was a bit slow, and enjoyed my meal but there wasn't anything special about this place. Id probably not go again.

The food and services are good. I love the the marinara pizza that is full of seafood. The coffee is also bitter enough.<br/>The fish of the day appears to be a little oily with too much butter. <br/>Nic to be sit outdoor, $40-$45 for two people including drinks.<br/>

My wife and I have been coming here for years, and with good reason. This is not the kind of restaurant you find on Concrete Playground or Urbanlist. This is not trendy "modern inspired" dining. This is good, solid, unpretentious and affordable dining. The atmosphere has just the right amount of buzz but is also peaceful.<br/><br/>Sapporo is on tap and well priced, and the portions are generous. Food is fresh, price is right and service is top notch. They look after new customers just as well as their regulars and they are deserving of the title of best on the strip.

Good food combined with excellent service, makes this place one of the better Italian restaurants in the area. With good seating available inside and out, the whole dining experience is quite good. It's BYO as well, which helps with a variety of choices on the menu.

Every time I've ordered anything from here it has always been absolutely delicious, fresh and quickly cooked with friendly waiters.  I love this Italian restaurant and wish I could eat here every single night.  If you like Italian food you can't go wrong eating here, everything on this menu is fantastic.

Great food and attitude. I'm a local and I've eaten here countless times. I like the owners and they are always friendly. I like the fact that when I ask for extra cheese on a pizza they aren't stingy. And that he pasta is consistently good along with the pizza. The other Italian in the area doesn't compare for service or consistency. Highly recommend Peter Pans.

Not just pizza here. Does decent pasta as well and a nice place to eat al fresco on a balmy night.

Always a great experience.. Friendly staff, great menu and gluten free pizza bases. I have eaten here several times and it is a favourite of mine in Crows Nest.

Great for a Function too!. Visited Peter Pan's Italian Restaurant today for a large group function. They couldn't have looked after us better! This place really goes the extra yard to make you feel welcome, enjoy your food and leave satisfied. The food was certainly very tasty - but we've been here before and knew that. It was the little things that take them to the next level. Will we be back again - hell yes. It's excellent value here for great food and it all runs so smoothly! Well done on handling a group of 50 so capably! Very impressive.

Decided to give Peter Pans a try after it was recommended by a family member. When I first walked past i was a bit hesitant but surprisingly the food was fantastic!!! As the saying goes, dont judge a book by its cover. The service was excellent!!! The waiters were so attentive, friendly & very accomodating. Food came quick & was fresh & tasty. Very happy & will be returning very soon, the garlic prawns were amazzzing!

Pathetic Italian. You would never think it possible, but twice in the past I ordered delivery of their pizza and the pizza came with virtually no cheese on it. When I called them to complain...and you will find this unbelievable, I certainly did........they claimed they had a cheese shortage!.<br/>I should have learned the first time, but I will never order or dine with this ridiculous Italian restaurant again.<br/>If you do try them, be sure to complain very sternly and go an return the pizza back if you have the same experience as me. They won't do anything for you if you can't get back there. Be warned.

Usually top service and excellent food, but after sitting with my girlfriend through the owner's daughter's birthday party (couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone speak) we were basically told (by the owner) that it was tough s***. Not even an apology from this arrogant operator. After being semi-regulars, we will not be returning. A massive shame.

Peter Pan's - Crow Nest, Sydney. Peter Pan's Italian Restaurant is one of the many choices in the 'restaurant belt' of the suburb of Crow's Nest in Sydney. It is more lavish and inviting than some of its nearby neighbours this place is worth visiting. My parents were in the mood for some Italian cuisine and one choice they were set on did not seem to exit anymore. <br/><br/>There were two choices for how to dine, inside the restaurant (there seemed to be more space out the back of the restaurant than I initially thought) or al fresco. I chose to go al fresco (my parents set it to me to decide). In the end, they thought that that was good choice - there was people watching to do but there was also some atmosphere to it. Unlike a lot of "al fresco" in Brisbane, here the pavements are big enough to reserve ample space or diners while having pedestrians comfortably walk by. <br/>The outdoor area was very winsome, with plastic covering to block some of the noise and fumes from the traffic and with shelter an a tree nearby (going through the shelter). Not ritzy by any stretch of the imagination, but definitely memorable. <br/><br/>Service was exceptionally friendly here; from an initial walk-by, ardent is certainly one term that can be use here. When one ordering, the waiter then asked if there were any starters we wanted (we did not). Later on with my dessert order - it was different waiter - he was asking very attentively about which ice cream flavour I wanted. Ergo, this was very "extra mile" in of servicing. <br/>Meal were brought out very quickly, when my table' order were being brought out I thought they were or another table. That is exceptional speed. <br/><br/>My parents got coupe of pizzas - marinara an a coppa & rucoll. I went a different route an got a scallopine i mare (veal scallopini with seafood). <br/>On the front o the marinara an die mare - they did not simply use marinara mix but actual fresh an distinguishable seafood. It was very tasty. <br/>The pizza crust was thin an crispy with the ingredients spread thinly cross the base. <br/>With the coppa & rucolla, the ingredients were sharp and flavorful. <br/>My scallopine was very we cooed, with handful o fresh vegetables that were not watery. Though they did use a bit too much of the tomato sauce, it had a rich flavour and texture. <br/>To end, I decided to get an afrogato - with hazelnut ice cream. The espresso they used was deep an rich, and the flavour of ice cream suited the coffee flavour even better than the usual vanilla one unlike vanilla, the hazelnut is not sweet instead being a bit tart. This combined well with the drink and was a lovely end to a good meal. <br/><br/>This is one place I would be more than happy to return to in the future.

Well miss king,i am regular patron of Peter pans and have never had a problem with the food nor the service also the staff have always been professional and friendly and if I tip them I do it properly,so tell your friends if they liked it they should tip,if not don't tip at all,and maybe the waiter won't throw the COINS back at them next time

A friend from work visited this restaurant on the weekend with parents from her daughter's school. One of the staff was apparently unhappy with the tip so threw it out the door after them. I certainly won't be eating there.

YUM!. Have walked past this place without ever even considering it for many many years. But a few weeks ago craving something "a bit different" from the usual meals out in Crows Nest, decided to give it a go.<br/><br/>The place dosnt look mauch, lets be honest, and its next door to another italian resturant (the hosts are always out the front and trying to get you in the door, which can be off putting). But let me tell you, the food was FANTASTIC! I expected that it would be ok, but it really exceeded my expectations. <br/><br/>The prices were on the pricey side - i mean, on face value, like i said the place dosnt look like much, so just reading off the menu, the prices always put me off too as it looks a bit retro.<br/><br/>I had the bruschetta to start (the BEST brushchetta i have ever had the pleasure of experiencing anywhere! And i make my own and tend to think highly of my home made version, but this was TASTY!!!!)

Great food! Slightly overpriced and the Mussels Provencale (main) was a too small. Overall good night out.

The best Italian restaurant on Willoughby Road. When the Italian restaurant next door is empty but people are waiting for a table at this restaurant, you know this must be the best Italian restaurant on Willoughby Road. Beautiful pasta and pizza and other authentic dishes such as Salmone al Limone. Prices are modest for such great food.
