came here with a friend when it was in its first few weeks of opening and absolutely LOVED it! The pizza choices were varied and according to our tastes, but I especially liked the chilli oil, parmesan and garlic oil they give you alongside your pizza. It's small touches like these that elevate the experience and make me want to come back. The pizza was absolutely delicious and the salad was lovely. The service was great, the lady taking our orders and waitressing was so nice and the dinner as a whole was wonderful - can't wait to come back!
It's date night for Matt and I. On this particular night we head to Borrusos in Crows Nest which is a new Italian restaurant for the area. Borrusos also has an established restaurant which has been in North Bridge for some time. . I've been on a bit of a health kick in 2019 and have been counting all my calories in an effort to be more healthy and to lose some weight. I've made some progress so far but I am finding that I can still eat delicious carby meals in moderation. I am looking forward to my meal at Borrusos!
Amazing, fresh and creative vegan menu!! Highly recommend the tandoori cauliflower pizza which was delicious and had a great combo of flavours. We also loved the burnt butter gnocchi and banana flambé was DELICIOUS! Food and drinks arrived quickly and our servers were lovely and attentive all night. 5/5 and can’t wait to return to try more things on the menu!
*Thank you Spooning Australia for this invite to this gem of a venue . Borruso’s in Crow’s Nest is a smallish eatery with dishes full of heart and heartiness. We were greeted from a team of staff that acted like a family and treated you as such as you walked in the door as well.
At Borruso’s, you can expect beautiful, homestyle Italian fare coupled with friendly, smiling service. I wholeheartedly support this local business and recommend that you visit them not only for their fabulous food but also to support their socially conscious culture, which adds $1 to every single bill to support the Eniwe Children’s Fund in Southern Africa. And, when you do visit, I’d highly recommend the garlic prawns and the apple and berry crumble for dessert!
Attentive service and nice ambience. Would recommend the ‘cheesecake’ and vegetarian pizza from the plant based menu. Good vegetarian and vegan options available.

Borruso’s Italian serves delicious Italian food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The aroma of their substantial servings are tantalising and you certainly won’t leave hungry. Checking out the entrees, Sir loves just about anything that is caramelised so we decided on the Cipolla Focaccia. When this arrived - it smelled delish. It had garlic and herb with caramelised onion and feta. It was so soft and light and the caramelised onion gave it a hint of sweet flavour that went so well.
Ah amazing. Just amazing. Need to try everything on the vegan menu! 😍 Tandoori cauliflower pizza was everything I wanted in a pizza and then the gnocchi just elevated the meal to another level. Without a doubt I will be back. 🖤
No complaints! Came for the vegan menu and ordered the vegetarian pizza and the gnocchi. Both were really tasty. Lots of toppings on the pizza and i loved the side garlic , chilli and vegan parmesan! Thank you for making a vegan menu!!! Also the staff were nice and friendly. 💜 (Forgot to take pics of our food oops)
