Highly recommend this place. The owner uses the best quality of ingredients, which are from local, even beer! Especially, the steak sauce is lovely and oyster is very fresh. Actually, everything is gorgeous. If I were a local, I would be a regular customer!

All dishes are just amazing!!👏👏 Fresh ingredients and of course, the taste great!! This the best restaurant for sea food for me I've ever tried. My photos maybe show to prove my comment. 😍

Chasing the perfect rockpool during a blue sky break in Sydney’s grey cloud summer, I found myself in Culburra. This sleepy surf-side locale is home to The Little Snapper. It’s an order-at-the-counter all day affair turning out the type of food you’d like to eat after spending time at the beach. Wiping the sea from my palate with a pine-lime Margarita ($15.50) was hampered by a very hectic salt rim. However, when taken through a straw, it was an enjoyable (and not over-sweet) twist on the classic. Supporting local producers, Jim Wild’s oysters ($29/dozen), are shucked too far ahead of time for much liquor, but tasty none-the-less. The triumph however is the battered flathead & chips ($17.50). While the fish portion was relatively small, it had a crisp batter cooked in clean oil, decent chips, excellent saucing (try the BBQ sauce) and a side salad that didn’t eat like an after-thought even on a public holiday (when a 10% surcharge was added to the bill). We washed it down with another local guy, Jervis Bay Brewing Co.’s Cow & Calf Tropical Pale Ale ($9), a fruity (think: peach and hints of orange citrus), hoppy quaffer. The young floor team are friendly and answered questions, like when did the fish come in (yesterday), with refreshing honesty.

Had the Special was really tasty and well cooked. Unfortunately only one downside, I've had a couple of dinners and they were lukewarm. Otherwise everything else was awesome.

Nice staff, great food👍 I really enjoyed strip loin steak which was juicy and tender. Side salad was nice and fresh and the dressing was flavorful. I loved that. Noodles comes with that but it can be swapped to chips. For Barramundi, skin was crispy and tender soft inside. Perfectly cooked and great match with sauce. My 3 years daughter also liked it! Awesome little restaurant! I will try cocktails next time😆

What a hidden gem! I went there with my girlfriends and we were so impressed with the modern and delicious food. We shared our meals and ordered the mussels, squid x chips and the fried chicken. Everything was perfect and reasonably priced. Our waiter Michael was so friendly and knowledgeable and he helped us choose the best wine for our meal. Definitely be Back with the family and can't wait to try their other dishes.

The staff were lovely and attentive. We didn’t have a booking but they still accommodated us despite being busy. Seafood platter was lovely, the best meal we had while in the area. Service was very quick too. There was one waiter in particular who was wonderful, I sadly didn’t catch his name (I visited on the 6th of Jan for dinner) but he was walking around checking on all the customers and made me laugh quite a few times. He has a very warm and welcoming manner. Hopefully this review reaches him, as he was great 😊
