Mashawi in Currambine is the newest branch of the Middle-Eastern Mount Lawley favourite, and perched above Farmer Jack’s it has a sumptuous interior with both balcony and interior tables. Staff are friendly, and the menu is large and varied with kebabs, tagines, and a surprisingly good variety of vegetarian options.
Have always been a fan of the original Mashawi in Mt Lawley, and the Currambine version didn’t disappoint. New, tastefully decorated interior, same signature menu and a good amount of attentive, friendly staff. Ordered the mixed grill (lamb, chicken and kofta) with rice (very good), salad and my all time favourite Mashawi dish, the cauliflower Zahara hara (so good and a must try!). Extra points for the shisha lounge located on the balcony outside the restaurant, which stays open fairly late.
