A step back in time with real country hospitality but with all the mod con’s... delicious food, cold tap beers, craft beers, local quaility arts/crafts.... it’s worth the drive
What a lovely place, great staff, service and location. The meal was superb.
Picture postcard setting and a real homely and welcoming atmosphere.
Don't pass this place by without at least dropping in.
Such a damn good meal!
After a day exploring the area we ended up in the Daintree Village, and in need of lunch we went where everyone else was.
The hotel is spacious, clean and busy!
The number of people here when we arrived was a good sign.
We took a seat outside and shortly after, our food arrived, for the number of people here our food was ready very quickly.
The beef burger was cooked wonderfully and the overall burger was great. The sides and kids meals we ordered were just as delicious.
Just a great hotel in North Queensland.
Great lunch. Finally found a place up this way that will do a veggie burger! (In fact they have two different vegetarian burgers on the menu!) Very affordable, great setting, lots of locals. Staff are friendly and attentive. Absolutely recommend.
Stopped in here for a tap beer and some hot chips on the last day of out holiday! Glad we stopped, very friendly staff, cold beer....local lager has an amazing taste. 👏 bloody perfect chips and an amazing view
I've holidayed in FNQ for some time ate in Port Douglas. In the crowded superficial pubs cafes and restaurantsThe staff work their butt's off for a not much more than a smile. Cued and cajoled for steak and chips seafood baskets mussels and prawns. Then someone mentioned daintree. Not the forest. The pub / general store. Forget the five star. White tabled dinner service. Expect nothing less than honest holessome pub grub that tastes great with a loving touch. Cold beer. Parmi and a pot for 17 bucks. T bones barra hamburgers. Book a table spend your 100 here and support the locals. Dont winge or complain. Remember where you are. YOUR ON HOLIDAYS. JUST ENJOY.
Burgers were great homemade and very tasty. Tables a little sticky and small menu
Great pub spot, worth the drive. The lady that served us was really lovely and the food was excellent.
The Barramundi Burgers were delicious, the batter on the fish was excellent. The fried onion rings lovely and light (a huge serve for $8), and the pepperoni pizza was also very good. Nice to have all freshly cooked food and served with a smile.
Everything you would expect and more from a small hotel. Definitely recommend!
