An option for Muslim who likes to try halal Thai Cuisine. Quite pleasant first visit experience. Its a small family run restaurant and we enjoyed the food we ordered. Will definitely recommend it to our Muslim friends who likes to try different culture dishes!
Heading down to HMAS Cereberus for our son's Recruit Training Graduation, we were staying in Dandenong for the night.
I must say food choices after dark are limited around the Shopping Plaza. We had just driven in peak hour traffic and were not keen to drive anywhere to grab a meal. So we located this place about a 5 minute walk from our hotel. This is why Melbourne is the food capital!!
What a simple but amazing restaurant!
Staff were polite and friendly.
We sat down and perused the menu. Carafe of cold water came out and was constantly refilled during our meal.
We chose vegetarian spring rolls for entree.
Chicken green curry, vegetable pad thai, and beef in Sweet & Sour sauce.
Everything was a knock out! So much flavour, cooked traditionally! We loved it all! The best Pad Thai I have had in years.
It was all cooked with love and it showed.
I must admit, I have not had a Thai meal like this in Brisbane.
Prices very reasonable with good portion sizing.
Thank you Siam Basil for such an amazing meal!!
I come here every year on my birthday. This year there have been new owners but the food is still consistently good and everyone who came were happy with their meals. Staff are friendly, food is fresh tasting and packed full of flavour. My favourite dishes are the fish cakes and the red duck curry.

Brilliant Chicken Pad Thai. Just had home delivery. Lots of flavour compared to others in area that can be determined as bland. Pla Goong was amazing and left my lips tingling.
Have dined here for work lunches in the past month as working close by. Really good food, fast and fresh. We were able to call ahead and book a table and pre-order so the food came shortly after we arrived each time. I've tried the red curry beef with coconut rice, the ginger beef with coconut rice and the pad thai with chicken. All very tasty and everyone I've come here with has enjoyed their food. Fast and friendly service also. Will return next time I'm in Dandenong.
The food was really nice, fresh and tasty, just as I hoped. They serve all the usual cuisines, such as soups, range of fried rices, curries, stir fries and desserts. The menu has pictures (I love pictures!) of all the dishes and their names in written in Thai along with a description making it easy to select.
I would have to say the portions are on the smaller side for the price, but the flavour, atmosphere and location make up for it. Although their food is halal, they do serve alcohol, just a heads up!
It is a fairly small restaurant, although we managed to fit my family, 13 adults, 2 babies in prams and a toddler, and they still had a few spare tables, but I would recommend making a reservation just to be on the safe side.
This may be the new talk of the town when it comes to local Thai food, so head on over and check it out today!

It is really good and tastes really authentic. I'm happy that there is a Thai place like this in Dandenong. Would come here everyday for lunch if prices weren't so high.
My Husband and i love this place, the foods always really good and we love that they deliver! Great for a delicious lazy night in delivery option.
Used menulog to home deliver. Took a little longer than their estimate, but the food was hot and excellent. All dishes were delicious. Massaman beef curry, satay chicken, red Thai veg & tofu.
Yum Thai food ....ordered the duck lab and was impressive! Rice coming a bit late as wanted that to be served with rice. Other than that the food is beyond expectation
