Excellent pho beef noodle soup. Best in the area hands down and reasonably priced

Worse place to eat. The owner is very arrogant and rude. She has got staring issues. She even called the security to intimidate customers. Please avoid at all cost if possible. Plenty of other options available especially at the food court.

Very friendly staff and great food. Great portions of meat in each meal, with flavours that aren't overpowering

Best spicy beef noodle soup and broken rice in Dandy! Go to takeaway shop.

Ordered brisket pho on a not so busy morning, got the accompaniment of bean sprouts and basil/green salad leaves served right on table. Within few minutes, got a big bowl of Pho which had good thin cut slices of Brisket, in dark brown stock, with loads of green spring onion and thinly sliced onion with glass Noodle 🍜. It surely is filling and you can take sweet time to finish your meal, Absolutely worth it. Maybe the temperature which I got served was close to like warmish, which could have been done to hot and while leaving as courteousy, I said thanks to my server and the other lady chef but clearly they were busy in their own conversation, hopefully a slight positive customer service attitude will do wonders

I asked for the beef pho to have no onions and when I got it there was onions and a mixture of beef and chicken, which wasn’t what was ordered and about 6 pieces of hair in it! When I confronted them about the hair they laughed at me saying it’s hair from the beef which should have been cleaned properly before serving🤮 there were non-editable cartilage and overall disgusting.

Been going here since it 1st opened for lunch by the original owner! New owners expanded and improved the menu! Great Viet style food! Lemongrass chicken/beef is highly recommended!

Ordered the broken rice for the first time at this restaurant, because I usually only order pho here (decent pho). Sadly, I was very disappointed in their broken rice.

The soup on the side had so much fat or oils in it that you can visibly see it floating on top in the soup. The lettuce they put on my dish wasn’t even washed properly, as seen in the photo there is still dirt. It was a huge turn off. Didn’t really have a good appetite for it anymore after seeing those, but still gave them the benefit of the doubt and ate the meal.

Wrong choice, i had a huge stomach ache the whole day afterwards. From when i was in the middle of eating it til when i got home at the end of the day.

:(

Under new management this place is worth having a feed at,
waiting times, comprehension of English are no longer a problem and the food is good!

I personally have been eating here since it's inception several years ago and have the taste of the PHO authentic to what I have had in the North and the South of Vietnam.
I'll eat there at lease once or twice a week.
Give it a try, I'm sure you will not be disappointed!

The pho at Dragon in Dandenong very yummy ..I love the broken rice and the pho slice beef in there... the Dragon under new management now they have excellent food and chefs ...
Witty Taste
Just craving for a bowl of Vietnamese pho, walk into this shop with no expectation. Tiny place, Sticky floor, unclean table, have to ask a staff to clean the table.... don't want to drive far away to springvale, so sit quitely at a corner wait for my order. Prawn springrolls unexpectedly nice! Beef combination pho taste alright, not feeling thirsty after meal, I guess NOT many msg use in their food. Will be back for getting take away of their prawn springrolls.

The pho is unauthentic has a really weird smell not pleasant smell it taste like instant pho not worth your money , if you want pho it’s worth going all the way to Springvale

Really disappointed, I normally love this place but lately they're getting sloppy, most of the time I'll get phĂł takeaway and every time I ask chilli for my phĂł they always seem to manage to forget it, I can't eat it without chilli, the English is really poor there as well, they never understand what people are ordering and I always see them mess the orders up! Not going back anymore.

Not the best pho area Melbourne, service quite frustrating because of non english speakers and wrong order was given ordered 1 pho and 1 broken rice and they gave me 2 pho 😥Cost was reasonable.

Finally a place to get Vietnamese in Dandenong - especially inside the plaza!
Shaking beef was fragrant and well-marinated - for $9.90 with tomato rice!
I would love to try their pho soon.
Friendly, fast staff.
Cash only.

This is why I love Dandenong! You can go to a plaza do some shopping and get quality Pho that is as good as most places. Chadstone and other major shopping centers take note.....it's not that hard!

I ordered a spicy beef with rice noodle soup (pho) and was very disappointed. The meat was really underwhelming and the noodles had no flavour. There was nothing spicy about it. I had to use a lot of spicy sauce and lime to bring the dish alive. Pho is such a popular dish, restaurants really need provide more than just water and noodles for $9.80.Renee Maelzer

Dragon Pho is a delicious option for the market goers and shoppers at Dandenong. Located inside the Dandenong plaza, near the fresh fruit and veg shop, this place serves traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Simple, delicious and affordable.

I love the prawn and pork spring rolls here, one of the best I have eaten in Melbourne. Make sure you eat it rolled in the iceberg lettuce and mint leaves. Really delicious.

The pho and laksa is also really good; very fresh and amazing flavours.

I also love the combo meals and we tried the tomato rice with beef and lemongrass chicken with sticky rice. Both were flavourful and delicious.

Friendly staff and a quick place for lunch which I visit often.

So happy when these guys opened up! Every fortnight I do my groceries I always stop to eat here. Have had the pho and the laksa and they're some of the best I've ever eaten!
