Helpful staff , beautiful food and nice coffee! The crepe is crispy and so yummy! My family had a wonderful lunch! Highly recommended!
Had the burger and the vegan bowl with the green juice and everything was perfect! Not to mention the incredible view. Can’t wait to come back
This place is wow! From the moment I got there, the service was great, the lady serving us was lovely and helped to find a spot out of the sun. Now to the food! I ordered the Israeli inspired cauliflower rice dish. Was pretty dam good! Cousins ordered various dishes, the avo toast in particular looked amazing! Great gluten free options. Would definitely go back ! 😋
Absolute love this cafe! Friendly staff and awesome beach views. They’ve got a wide range of healthy options - both seeet and savoury. Their acai bowls are awesome, big servings and very generous amount of toppings! I also tried their blue mermaid latte which was very interesting - not very sweet which is good. It’s pretty stuffy in there and can get very loud so it can be pretty difficult to have a conversation.
Such a busy and popular cafe on Dee Why beach. Deservingly so, they have such a healthy menu and the best crepes. Amazing coffee and amazing lunch options. I’m going back to take some pics as the plating was very good.
We dined here on a Saturday afternoon.
We were able to get a seat, first outside then we moved indoors when it started to rain.
The theme of the cafe is a rustic, beachy feel. Beautiful detailing and large glass windows overlooking the beach in the distance.
The food- I think I fell in love.
The burger was something out of this world. The black bun was soft and fluffy; no compromise on taste, it was the hero of the already delicious dish. The type of burger you think about in your day dreams.
The açai smoothie was fresh and the taste of the açai was refreshingly strong. Decent serving size, a bit pricy for $10. Next time I’d upgrade to the açai bowl for $16 and make a meal of it.
The coffee- perfectly brewed and with a dark chocolate ball on the side.
Overall, the food at this cafe was beyond wonderful, very impressed!
Would highly recommend.
👍🏼- Incredible cafe located across the beach! Their coffee and Acai bowls are great! The overall ambiance is buzzing. I’m usually quite picky with my Acai bowls regarding toppings and the overall texture, however I really enjoyed this. Does it top all the other Acai bowls I’ve had ? No.. but it was yummy. The presentation was spot on also!
👎🏻- The service was fine just a little slow at some points, but I understand that this spot can get busy.

Incredible brunch and lunch cafe! Such amazing and original healthy options. The environment is cozy and hip (love their blankets) and the food is delicious. Definitely try their savoury crepes.
So many good things to say. Lovely location opposite the beach and plenty of tables for different sized groups. Wait staff were all very friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. Not sure why they aren’t brave enough to call the crepes “galettes”, which were rather inventive and truly yummy. My fussy youngest wasn’t impressed with the fancy “kids” pancakes, perhaps run the menu past some kids? Mostly kids like plain food, just sayin’. Adventurous kids can order adult food, as my other ones do. Great coffee and juices. 👍🏻
Girdler’s Grind, a stylish hipster cafe located across from the beach serves meals that are both organic and delicious. This casual, cozy cafe offers a range of amazing meals as well as dietary requirements such as GF & Vegan.
We ordered 2 savoury crepes, 1 sweet crepe, the kids pancakes and the porridge. The savoury crepes were spectacular, as was the sweet one. The kids pancakes, however, were made from coconut milk and banana, they were stodgy and very un-pancakey, I doubt any child would like them. The porridge was very runny but full of flavour and taste.
If we came back we would only order crepes.
Very good food, little bit expensive but on balance I'd say it's worth it for me. I had a bacon and egg roll on gluten free (which was $16!) but it was so surprisingly good that I almost ordered a second. I've had a lot of bacon and egg rolls in my time and this was one of the best. My son had the crepe with bananas and ice cream and it all disappeared. Also had a pineapple juice and coffee.
One of my favourite brunch places after surfing. Crepes and pancakes are delicious as well as their savoury stuff like Shashuka and Smashed Avo.. 🤌 yumm! Friendly staff and it’s located right in front of Deewhy beach so the view is awesome too 😎
One of best Pancakes and Crepes I’ve ever had. Coffees are just average. Great customer service as well. Definitely recommend!
This is our go to Cafe for weekend brunch. Love their food, the smash avo in particular is delicious! The creps are really good too. Coffees are average but the service is always super friendly and accommodating.
They also have a good assortment of freshly squeezed juices that I love.
@girdlers_cafe was an absolute good feed and awesome service .. the waitress Rachel was incredibly awesome, absolutely friendly and extremely attentive. We loved her so much … the food was great, service was awesome and the French manager was a sweetheart. Last but not least, the Italian chef was top chef and super nice and friendly … highly recommended and we will definitely be back. And seriously thank you Rachel for taking good care of us and being super nice …
Rate the holy avo highly. Tasty as avo sauce with the eggs all fluffy and poached to perfection!
Not a bad chai either 👌🏿
We came here twice during our stay in Sydney. If that's something to go by
