After reading some ordinary reviews on here I was a little hesitant. We booked for a group of 8 for lunch and what an awesome experience. The bistro wasn’t overly busy, food was all fresh, tasty and exceeded my expectations. Staff were extremely accommodating with keeping our birthday cake refrigerated until we were ready to cut it. For this we have also booked the Christmas Day lunch. Will certainly be going back. Thanks to the staff at DPH. Well done

Love how each day they have specials going on. We came in on the Wednesday and parma's were $10 each. 5 choices to choose from which was interesting. Best Parma I've had in a very long time, quantity and quality. 10/10.
Coming down from the other side of Melbourne and would have to say it was very enjoyable coming to this pub, food and service was excellent.
Nice little pub in a neat bush like location in Deer Park.
There is a nice bistro with a nice little beer garden outside. We order a chicken parma and a steak sandwich which were both quite nice. Pretty enjoyable meal and they also help cater for kids by offering coloring in books and pencils.
My partner and I just had lunch here. We were a bit sceptical but walked in the bistro.. It had a beautiful setting and the outdoor area is nice too. We ordered the chicken Parma and the salmon. We were amazed. It was delicious. The mash potato is to die for! Will definitely be returning. Only thing is the bathroom was a bit outdated but other than that 👌👌👌👌
My partner,her child and myself had a top quality meal that was perfectly cooked!!!!!
We ordered two different cuts of steak and a chicken parma.
The portions was of good sizes and the steaks melted in our mouths with every juicy bite which was cooked to perfection as we requested and the Parma came out moist and tender as well with the delicious salard, dressing, chips and the magic mushroom sause which were real mushrooms and not caned ones.
And the banana dessert looked amazing.
The staff were professional and friendly and the whole experience of this meal and service was of great standard with nothing negative at all.
So for the first time EVER I will award this restaurant top marks and serve them 7/7 Kilroy Stars.

Definitely a good place for the locals. The whole environment is clean, tidy and comfortable. Prices are reasonable plus sometimes you can get a second meal for $8 docket from supermarkets. Food quality is good but service can be a bit slow if there is a large group of people ordered before you.

OasIs that quenched my thirst. It's odd how timing and circumstances can shape one's opinion. I have no doubt that the food, service and overall atmosphere at the Deep Park Hotel are as bad as so many reviewers say. Such is the nature of battler pubs in Boganvilles. But every time I pass by this place, I haz a happy. That's because of the first time I came across it. I was on a pushbike trip, exploring the western suburbs, and had ridden a long way up the Kororoit Creek trail near here. It was hot, I had drunk all the water I was carrying, my body was parched and I had only a vague notion where I was. From what I could see after popping off the trail, there was nothing but highway and bushland around, with nary a drop to drink. (Silly me, not knowing the burgeoning metropolis of Deer Park was just around a bend in Ballarat Road.) The Deer Park Hotel was my oasis. I got a bottle of cider here with the last cash I had on me and was fortified to make the ride down the creek and to Sunshine train station (i didn't know how close Ginifer was) without keeling over from heat exhaustion. For that reason, I give this place a thumbs-up. But after reading the reviews, I wouldn't set food inside the pub. Yuck.
Good quality pub/bistro food. We've been here a couple of times. On both occasions the food was good. My Husband particulary liked the Osso Bucco.
The second time we went it was parma night. I had the parma and quite enjoyed it.
Very good. We have eaten in the front bar and the bistro it's very good food and wait times are good and the lunch time specials are a favorite with many people from work.. The make a great parmagiana and if they have the prawn skewers on the menu in the bistro I would highly recommend trying it
Food was good and one of the cheapest meals we have had as a family in a while due to a discount. All 6 of us enjoyed what we got. Very cosy atmosphere and think the beer garden would be great in summer.
Had my wife's 40th birthday party in a function room at the Deer Park Hotel last night. Could not fault the customer service from the first meeting with function manager Belinda, until finish. She was so very helpful all the way through the lead up to the party and constantly checking in on the night ensuring our party went smoothly and a great night had by all. Thank you so very much Belinda. A big thank you to venue manager Aaron who also went out of his way to ensure our night was a success. For food, we went a selection of numerous platters, which all came out in a timely manner. The platters were a great size and tasty as well. I would highly recommend the use of their function room for events. We will certainly use it and the Deer Park Hotel in the future. Thank you again Belinda and Aaron, and the Deer Park Hotel. Keep up the great work!! 👍
Great meals, for great prices and friendly staff. Only downfall is menu's are all online and they prefer you to order online using a qr code. Does not help elderly customers, as I went there with my parents and they struggled to view the menu on the ipad offered.
