Mt Barnett Roadhouse - Derby - Photo album

I had read bad things about this place. I took it with a pinch of salt. Then I arrived and I could not believe just how bad it was. Huge queue for toilets and showers. 1 washing machine. I could live with that. Then I met one of the staff at the shop. Frankly I have never met such a horrible low lif
Great oasis in the middle of the Gibb River Road. Be careful on weekends, shop closes at 1pm both Saturday and Sunday. Great coffee and the best Sausage Rolls
MT Barnett Roadhouse on the Gibb river road is a welcoming break from the corrugations and offers good unpowered camping, toilets showers and a refreshing swimming in the Manning river, good walking trail to the Manning gorge with spectacular views.

Very good fuel priced ok from sunsets and spanners

Poor form Mt Barnett, we were only given the conditions AFTER we had paid cash, but poor form either way
