Fantastic place and very friendly staffs. Ordered two mixed platters, a butter chicken and some garlic naans. Had a great time with my family. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely place, whilst not being the best location it was nice inside. Good customer service and some really nice tasting food. Best tandoori I've had in a long time and they actually know how to spice things, medium was spicy enough to have bite without ruining the dish by overpowering the taste buds. Would have rated higher if their Korma sauce had as much flavor as the other local, but the meat was much higher quality with whole chunks of tandoori chicken in the Butter chicken. Would recommend.
We went for a casual dinner with friends. Every dish was tasty. Every protein was cooked beautifully- prawns, lamb, beef and chicken. Service was attentive and friendly. We had a question on flavour profiles of two curries and our waiter came back with suggestions. Will return.
As the new owners have only taken over 3 months ago, we thought we’d give this local Indian cuisine a try. We were pleasantly surprised as we served with well presented food, wth a tasty, fresh and a nice of balance of spice whilst being very palatable. We were treated by great customer service by the 2 young lads which made the dining experience complete.
The samosas are lovely, they are generous and taste homemade. The curries are delicious and have a yummy depth of flavour. The people are genuine and lovely.... Great Indian in our dinkie little Diamond Creek. Hooray.
I've been going to Tarana for a few years, through different owners. When Inda ran it, it was AWESOME. Then, in my opinion, when subsequent owners came, it had slipped a bit. However, the new owners (I think they've been there 1 year? I hadn't gone for the last year) are doing a great job. We went last week--a group of 5 of us, as we had heard there were new owners.
Now, it's important to point out that the group of us are quite fussy on our Indian food and we tend to travel up to 20-25 minutes from the area to find good Indian. It is in our interest to not have to travel far for Indian--SCORE!
Tarana is back as an excellent Indian restaurant. We had an excellent selection of dishes last week. Our favourite dish is the Palak Paneer--but so many great dishes! Service was very good--the two brothers running the front are very polite and focussed on making our experience as positive as possible.
Great friendly service. Good flavours. Spectacular Kashmiri Naan. Tucked away at the back of an arcade , this restaurant in a good find and worth the tome to give it a try. There is a new menu coming soon (new owners). I will be back to sample it.
