There is one down side to this place! Having to make a decision. There are so many different choices of ice cream. Plus there are other sweet treats that would appease anyone. Staff are so lovely and let me try some before I made my decision. Choice of cones. Nice portion amount. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible. Will return.

Wide variety of ice creams. We ordered the bowl of 3 scoops ice cream. Since my friend had the Groupon voucher of Buy one free one, its definitely worth it. For $13.95, you get two big portions of 6 flavors.

Delicious ice cream. A little overpriced. Had the swiss chocolate and the vanilla brownie flavours which were both yummy. They need more tables and chairs for people wanting to dine in.

I love Mövenpick and have done years before new upstarts were on the scene. Rum and Raisin is my absolute favourite flavour of all time and this creamy version of it does the trick. I agree with other reviews in that you don't get a hugely generous serve for the price but that's fairly consistent amounts the other Mövenpick stores do perhaps that's the way they roll.

The ice cream here is pretty good, but honestly it doesn't quite compare with other gourmet ice cream/gelato places around Melbourne such as Gelato Messina and Il Dolce Freddo. It's also rather expensive given that the serving size tends to be smaller than average. I've also had desserts here, and they were pretty average. I would only visit Movenpick for ice cream because it's more accessible than other places.

Staff are generally friendly, but it gets very busy and staff become easily flustered. A sign of bad management, in my opinion. Ice cream and waffles are great. Minimal places to sit and savour the taste.

Gorgeous flavoured icecream, rum and raisin and Swiss chocolate were to die for, but service pretty average, and took them about 5 min to figure out the prices of 4 ice creams!

Movenpick Doncaster. We went to Movenpick at Doncaster this afternoon and loved it. I ordered the banana split while my friend ordered the pancakes. Hands down, the best ice-cream we have ever had. The ice-cream was of such a great quality and the flavours were fantastic. We even bought a take home pack. The service was also great. We had to wait a little while for the banana split as they weren't happy with the quality of their bananas and wanted to buy some more. This didn't bother me at all as I appreciated that they wanted to serve the best quality produce. The waiter even gave me an extra scoop of ice-cream for free. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

New owner, new start, the ice cream was great also have a lot of other desserts and drinks. Not being a healthy choice but still a good place to hang out with friends and family. It's on the ground floor btw, and hope you will enjoy the ice cream.

a small asian girl left chocolate smudged on my frappe. [edit] Okay i revisited the Movenpick location once again due to a sudden craving for swiss ice-cream that i miss from my hometown. The same asian girl that served me 4 months ago served me again she was very polite and sweet (no pun intended) she gave me a very nicely CLEAN served scoop of ice cream. Fantastic customer service i was wrong about this place very impressed and sure to come again.

I went there with Groupon voucher and the ice cream was great. Arrived around 7:30 PM on Friday, it wasn't busy at all and got quick service. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is because of it's location and opening hours. I wish it was located outside of the shopping center and was open at least until 11 Pm on weekend!!!!
