Awesome food! The '$14' lunch buffet with a spread consisting of nan, rice, butter chicken, lamb roganjosh, goat curry, beef rendang, vegetable curry, potato dry, dal, salad, chutney, pickle, two deserts is out of this world! Just unbelievable for the most awesome food outside India!
This restaurant would have to be one of Perths best, awesome food & service, a place that is so warm & friendly the staff & management make you feel like you are part of there Family. I would recommend this Restaurant as a must to all Perths locals & guests. 👍
If we are considering Indian we drive here from across the river. Welcoming, , friendly and attentive staff and their beer is always cold!!! The biggest choice of vegetarian options around. Highly recommend.
Best restaurant in East Vic Park! Food is superb, drinks very reasonable (had a beautiful bottle of red for only $30), service excellent and has a great atmosphere! Loved that the chef Pannir came to our table & chatted to us, such a genuine, warm and very funny guy!! Highly recommend that u visit this place, would also be great for private functions!!
I have been to Cinnamon a few times and without a doubt, will return and definitely recommend it to others.
Food is amazing, hospitality superb and the whole experience sublime. It's just got that 'come back again and again' vibe. Hats 🎩 off to all that makes this experience possible
The best naan bread ever! The food was delicious, plentiful and our waiter Lilly was friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back after walking by heaps of times and finally deciding to give it a go on a Monday night.
Excellent food, excellent staff, Dave loves the indian beer (only place he gets it) can't fault anything about the restaurant
Hands down the best Indian cuisine we've ever had. The makhani butter chicken and chicken korma were full of flavour and we didn't wait long for food. Warm and cosy atmosphere, with wonderful happy staff who topped off the night. Thank you guys! We'll be back soon :)
We were very fortunate to be the first to try the new Malaysian Indian menu and it was delicious. The biryani was to die for as was the prawn sambal and sambar. The addition of fried anchovies, peanuts and achar brought back memories of good old Malaysian food. Can't wait to be back.
Always a beautiful meal at Cinnamon Vic Park - very welcoming. Genuinely love this place. Such lovely people that own and run it. 😊
Good service.
Great food.
Very enjoyable.
$20 buffet on Sunday night...excellent value for money.
AMAZING Indian food!!! Staff were so so lovely. The chicken korma dish was fantastic and I loved the dumplings for dessert. Will definitely be coming back :)
Have eaten here a few times and it never fails to deliver very flavoursome amazing food .... Every person I've ever brought here always raves about it and comes back..
Our first time dining here. The service is very friendly and welcoming. The buffet was definitely adequate for the $20 we paid for dinner. Lovely food. Beautiful restaurant. Will dine again for sure.
Had an opportunity to visit Cinnamon at Victoria Park and it was simply an awesome experience. Starting from the reservation, to making us feel comfortable at the restaurant, service and to top it all of the amazing food. It was mouth watering. Got privilege to meet and spend some time with the Masterchef himself. Such a gem of a person. Highly recommend it for fabulous Indian/Malaysian cuisine. Keep rocking!
The prices for the amount you get is just fantastic. Highly suggest to check it out.
First time and wow. What excellent food. So impressively served and with that authentic Indian food flavour. We had the Chicken Korma, Beef vindaloo and the spicy malaysian prawns. I think they were nice to us not making the vindaloo really hot but it was hot enough. and we could have gone hotter. Really good , sent our compliments to the chef. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves this type of food and wants a good experience.
My favourite Indian in Vic Park. Fantastic Vindaloo and Garlic Naan to die for - some of the best I've had. My companion wasn't too knowledgable about Indian food and the server was very patient with her, which was rather sweet.
We brought a takeaway butter chicken, coconut rice, onion bhaji and garlic naan. It was very very good! The butter chicken sauce was creamy and delicious and went perfectly with the coconut rice! I liked how the chicken pieces werent huge chunks like some other places. The onion bhaji was crispy, not to spicy and went well with the refreshing green sauce. Naan was also cooked well. One minor thing I noticed was maybe these were pre-made and kept in the fridge? As it seemed like they curry and rice were not as hot as expected when we got them home - a quick zap in the microwave fixed that though. The Great taste more than made up for that! I will definitely be back
We had a beautiful lunch meal here. Such good value for money at $16 each for buffet. We also ordered some naan. As the selection was limited for buffet I cannot give a full review, however what we had was great! Would definitely come again.
Went here for a Christmas dinner with work colleagues. I enjoyed everything I tried. Atmosphere was nice. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed. In their defence too many people at our table were speaking to them at once. I will definitely go back.
Butter chicken was amazing - nice and creamy and not sour like some places do it. Eggplant dish (spicy!!) and garlic naan were also nice. Just really pricey for what you get! We only got 12 pieces of chicken cubes for $18.95! Service on the phone and in store were both lovely.
My boyfriend and caught up with my parents for lunch in Vic Park. We weren't sure what we felt like so we just walked down Albany Highway to see what was around. We saw Cinnamon and decided to give it a go. We saw there was a buffet on offer, but we looked at the menu anyway. There was a good selection on the al la carte menu and the prices were reasonable. We all went up and had a look at what was available in the buffet and we were impressed! There was a great selection of dishes, meat curries, vegetable curries, dahl, rice, samosas, spicy chicken wings, naan and salad with all the condiments and the food was noticeably fresh. We all decided to have the buffet. It was great value $14 per person and dessert was also included. My mum is Anglo Indian and she commented on how authentic the food is, especially the dahl. The service was great, the waitress was well informed, attentive and polite. I would come again and I would highly recommend.
Best Indian takeaway I've found so far in Perth!
Cinnamon make their butter chicken exactly how I like it - super creamy, a little sweet, and not too tomatoey. Their samosas had great flavour, and we loved their onion bhajis but by the time we got them home, they'd started to go soggy (probably don't order the bhajis if you're getting takeaway).
The woman who took our order on the phone was very friendly and our order was ready when we arrived at the restaurant to pick it up, so can't fault the service at all!
Cinnamon is a few dollars more expensive than other takeaways because it's Vic Park, but I think the quality can't be beaten. I'd like to dine in and try their buffet next time.
Weekend buffet breakfast for $12 is too good with variety of food and tea/ coffee.
Coffee served was not hot though. Staff are very good. 5/5 for customer service.
Brilliant for the price that you pay!
Try out the lunch/dinner buffet. Cost was $ 14 per head (lunch buffet)
It had 4 non-veg dishes. To my surprise, all were made well. It had about 5-6 condiments and 3 vegetarian dishes. The only not-so-good part was that the desert (gulab jamun) was room temperature which was a bit of a turn off. The breads were soft and freshly prepared.
Thumbs up to the place. Would definitely visit again!

+3.5
The food is not bad but we had to wait for almost an hour to receive our order. And I do feel the pricing is higher than the value we get. I don’t think I would recommend this restaurant
We tried the Indian food and it was really very good with a concentration for delivering food with excellent flavour. Loved the very hot Lamb Vindaloo, so hot that my forehead and cheeks perspired, which is something you frequently don’t get when trying vindaloo at other restaurants. Without heat, vindaloo is unremarkable. Good decor and pleasant atmosphere but the service lacked a coordinated and managed rhythm on a busy Saturday night, so we had to wave to be served and for dishes to be taken away. There were enough waiters but only one of them moved at an efficient pace to keep up with the orders Service, however, is very friendly. If you want good Indian curry or a very hot “ring burner” vindaloo that will make you suffer beautifully during consumption and subsequent elimination, you won’t be disappointed. Solid 4 stars.
Slow service but food was good. We had the garlic naan, a serve of rice, lamb korma and ayam Sambal. Costs about $50. Good atmosphere. I would go back again to try other items on the menu.
A delicious Indian feast made all the more perfect by the friendly staff! I have eaten here on numerous occasions and am continuously impressed by the strong flavours and comfortable dining experience. Ideal for a casual weekend feed or group gathering. Special mention to the lovely wait staff- friendly, accomodating and knowledgeable. I will definitely return!
I dined at Cinnamon for the second time on Friday night and had the most delicious meal. We ordered the mixed share plate to start and the lamb korma with saffron rice for main (all pictured). Great service, will definitely be back.
Quite a nice Indian restaurant. I had a birthday there one and everyone enjoyed themselves. I quite like the goat Masala.
Very good decor too. They also do some Malaysian dishes like satay as well
Great food and lovely service. Staff make you feel so welcome and are very fast. The food is always lovely and fresh. They standout however is the fish korma and Singapore noodles. The head chef really does seafood well.
Food is fantastic, they do a fab lamb rogan josh, naan breads are amazing too! The venue is great too with a really extensive bar, great customer service too.
10/10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND & WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED ... #FAVOURITE OF OURS!
It was for my Partner's "Belated Birthday Dinner" from last month & made the perfect choice for sure! Definitely be back with my Partner & other Friends of mine.
From the moment my Partner & I walked in, in all aspects from each staff member of quality dining of true enjoyment experienced in dining there 2 nights ago. I was going to leave a Tip in Tip Bowl but Micheal beat me to it on our behalf. It is so very rarely I tip (few & far between) in not many decent restaurants anymore. You get real personal customer service which is so rare in all industries now since I can remember.
Cinnamon has become my most favourite restaurants in Victoria Park. I have been there many times with my friends and family but there was never an occasion where I was disappointed with their offerings. Even the food seems to be rich which shows the importance that they give for the quality by not compromising on the cost. This aspect is getting very rare now-a-days. The staff are very courteous and professional as well.
Being in the same industry I strongly recommend this restaurant for its Taste, Quality and last but not the least the 'Ambience'.
we used this place often on Friday nights many years ago and it has always provided great Indian food and entertaining staff. This time we had a groupon voucher which made it very inexpensive too. Vindaloo was perfect, spicy but ridiculous - all dishes tasty and generous. We will go back regularly - grouping makes it so!
A place I will always return. Having been away from WA for over two years I have never found an Indian restaurant within Sydney which could ever match the taste and memories of the great food Cinemon on the Park delivers. I was so glad to taste it all again when I was recently back in WA. The selection of food is great and not one dish tastes like the other with a slight tweak which all others seem to do.. The meat is so fresh and succulent. Not precooked to a degree it's too tough as generally experienced in others. I just love the place. Anyone out there wanting to try a taste of addiction then please go and eat there. The owner and his staff are so nice..wanting to be your friend.

Just love the new bar section of this restaurant that opened last week, very cool decor, great food and excellent service.
...but the food is AMAZING!. At first glance, the decor isn't perfect, and they could use one or two more staff, but the food is AMAZING. Have been 3 times now and enjoyed everything.
Fantastic!! Food is always tasty and to a high standard. Pakoras and butter chicken are my favs, everything we order is yummy. Service is great and they make a good Pina Colada. Watch this space: soon to be a coool wine bar as well as same fine food in the restaurant. Thank you Cinnamon just what Victoria Park needs :)
Totally outstanding restaurant, food, atmosphere and location superb!! We love big Alex ;)
Brilliant food and very attentive service. Highly recommend. The butter chicken was excellent!
Fabulous. Great food, great service, cant wait to eat here again.
Service staff really polite and efficient. Food was enjoyable. Overall a nice atmosphere.
Always love this place, took advantage of voucher on their Facebook page so got a free bottle of champagne, but would have come anyway.
Edit - a couple of years later and I am still coming, and still enjoying.
Father's Day delight What a.... Father's Day delight
What a lovely meal! We always keep coming back because the ingredients used are always great quality and the flavours remind me of my travels in India. My favorite waitperson is always good for a laugh (really tall chap) - so friendly and good value.
Favourite for Indian. I just love this place, it has the best food, the naan prawns are yummiest and the lamb korma is just perfect! The staff and the owner are fantastic, they always are smiling they can remember exactly what I and my friends love to eat.... I can't say a bad word abut them! Love them
My Fave Indian in Vic Park. This is my favourite Indian Restaurant in Vic Park. I find the food always delicious, and the service quite good when I go. The Bombay Prawn entree is one to try.
Good food and consistent . Was at the restaurant on the night of the crying baby. I thought the staff were more than patient . It's a shame some parents feel everybody should put up with their tired child crying for over 45 minutes .
Their squalling brat ruined the ambience . Take your kids home!!!
I search for the best indian and i think i've found it!. Well you have to start reviewing somewhere right, and why not at a classic Indian restaurant. I'm just loving this place. I've eaten a lot of Indian in my time and this place I can't help but keep going back. Onion baji's are best in Perth, I'm sure of that and the vindaloo is just as it should be. Friendly staff and maybe the tallest Indian man in Perth! Try this place for yourselves you will not be disappointed if you know your Indian.
Cinnamon on the park is amazing, with the amount of different Indian places in Vic park you really can't go past this one. The service is fantastic and they are warm and friendly. Great atmosphere within the restaurant on a busy night.
Foods really nice! Lunch time on a Thursday, came out quick, looks amazing
Great fresh flavours. We tried this restaurant for the first time last night and will definitely be going back again. The food was beautiful, cooked to perfection, meat was tender and flavones amazing. This would have to be one f the best curries we've had in Perth. Highly recommend it.
Delicious dinner. Good attentive service. Uncomfortable sagging chairs. Unfriendly greeting when we got there - we had some bottles of Jim Bean & Cola as we were told on booking that it was BYO but it is only BYO wine. Man was rude
Great food, great service. Must try the goat biryani! Tender pieces of goat in basmati rice with coriander and mint. The goat was moist and tender. Must try the Indian mango ice cream too!
A great place to eat Indian. Scott Elsley has seriously no real taste for indian cuisine. The Butter chicken is the best combination of indian flavours I have ever tried for this particular dish. It could infact be the restaurant's signature dish. I have been following Indian cuisine for more than 40 years and being british/ australian I could know what Indian restraurant food should taste like. Please be open with a mind to be pleased and not with an attitude to be negative and using your word...Talk CRAP
My favorite. This place is awesome.
I live locally and grab takeaway when I don't eat there.
Best Butter Chicken I've had, staff there are really friendly (probably because I go there so much)
Amazing! Wonderful flavours and friendly, prompt service. I'll be back next week.
Omg delish. be prepared to be stuffed though, the dishes are very tasty and filling. we have the keral beef curry, butter chicken, chicken biriyani and cheese naan. freaking moreish. cant wait to go again.
After walking past this establishment many times over we decided to go in tonight and see what all the fuss was about. We were pleasantly suprised by what we found. Upon perusing the menu of extensive dishes we finally decided on the Butter Chicken and Lamb Bhuna Punjabi. The meals did not take long at all and were extremely well presented. We could not fault the food either, the meals were delicious and authentic. Customer service was also excellent. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience and we would have no qualms about recommending this restaurant to our friends and family.
Standard Indian Food. Standard Indian, not mind blowing but not bad either.
Great night out. Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, good service. If you are not in a mad rush then kick back have a couple beers, a lovely tasting platter and select from a great menu. My favorites are baby goat curry & madras lamb shanks. Great selection of breads and rice dishes as well. We always have a great night out at the Cinnamon. The place is clean and has a great atmosphere at the weekends. (Best to book)
Was here recently with a group. Great menu, lots of choice. Staff were very good, food was excellent, best Indian food o've had since being in India! Will most definitely be back!
Great Indian!. Wandered down to Cinnamon last Tuesday night, as have always seen it really busy and thought was worth a try. Very friendly staff, delicious food and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning and this is added to the regulars list. Flavour of India across the street is always completely empty, so Cinnamon is the best option for good indian food!
Went on tuesday night, was bit quiet but I loved the atmosphere, friendly staffs and the food was delicious. It's the best Indian food I had in Perth. Will definitely go back again !
